I disagree that the wider neck is unattractive, or just for an undershirt. It's a stylistic choice by the designer, which makes it look more casual and louche; it's all good if this isn't your style, but it doesn't mean it's poorly designed.

From what i gathered from this is going TTS for whitesville but 1 size up in merz. Im 195 somewhat muscular and wide back at 5'8.

I just ordered two brands of t-shirts: Lady White Co., and Standard & Strange (Wakayama), both in black. I have no idea which I will like better. I tend to care about softness more than anything else but I do like high collars too. Maybe I should get Whitesville to compare?

Im a medium, normally go for large in tshirts to allow shrinkage. Just purchased an XL in Merz which should fit nicely after washing. Ive owned 2 different sunspel tshirts, both large, both continued to shrink until they didn’t fit after 2 seasons. ☹️wont be buying them again!
