Head Hunter lures are copies of other baits. That one you have is a Rock Crawler copy. They also do copies of Megabass 110s

Berkley or Pure fishing, is located in Spirit Lake, Iowa. up there, there are multiple big lakes to test out their products, west lake okoboji, east lake okoboji, minnewashta, upper and lower gar, little spirit and big spirit. so the company tests those products out on those bodies of water. they also give some of their employees prototypes to test out. last year, i was fortunate enough to get to try the money badger prototype with my friend who works at pure fishing. i was very impressed with the money badger and was able to get some of them before they came out. definitely a good crankbait

Fire tails look like SPRO Rock crawlers which do work pretty good. Caught a 15 lb salmon in the Sac river

This is what you do. Buy a lure , don't find open water or indoor pool to test and evaluate. So if you don't like a lure you can tank it never have used it.

Don't have experience with money badger but frittside bills break off all the time.

The lips are breaking from slapping it on the water trying to get trash off it, when the lips on a crankbait last longer just by getting trash off with your hands ,simple and easy ,no worries of breaking lips off your crankbait try it, it works.

I've never had any bills on any brand crankbaits break, banging in to riprap,stumps an so on,big difference is when I get trash on the hooks which we all do,I don't slap mine agsinst the water like I see a lot do,I just put in my hand pull the trash off ,simple ,easy and it works. I've had mine frittsides for years and not one bill has broke,any crankbait or lipless will break long as you keep slapping it on the water to remove trash on it,save money save crankbaits just pull it off with your fingers it works🤔

Here is a new hook and technique that we should be trying. kzbin.info/www/bejne/p5uzamuErNOBhas your 5 yr old does an amazing job. On the Head Hunter the Green/Blue craw is the one I’m wanting to try first. Have you tried the Frittside and Clickin Frittside. Also the SK Shallow Hybrid Hunter?

I've never tried the hybrid hunter before. And because out season for bass up here on lake st clair doesn't start until the end of June I have very little flatsided crankbaits that usually excellin water below 50 degrees
