So many times when I'm at a restaurant, dept. store, kiosk, doctor or dentist office, a Filipina will ask my gf how we met (in Bisaya) and that they are looking for a foreigner. Then they ask if I have any brothers or friends that I can introduce to them. So I can confirm from my own experience that it's easy to meet Filipinas in person.

You are right ... a few years ago one small vlogger made a video. A subscriber from the US just landed in the Ph and was too shy to talk to a woman. The vlogger said say hello and then talk about x,y,z then ask for her number. They went down the road stopping at 5 or 6 different food stands and he got 2 or 3 numbers. Basically the new guy needed a wing man to stand next to him and do nothing other than look at food while the new guy talked to the woman.

I met my lady on Christian Filipina in late 2019 or first of 2020. I'm in my early 70's now and before I came here I wasn't interested in young girls, I was seeking someone more mature who I would have much in common with. At the time she was in her mid 50's and owned her house and had a sari sari store. She supported her parents and two daughters and I was very impressed with that. She never asked for money, but I did send money once when her mother got very sick and was hospitalized. Later I sent money when her father had a stroke. When I came to the Philippines and he saw me for the first time he broke down in tears and I knew I had done the right thing. We also video chatted three times every day for two hours but eventually went to one hour every time so I always knew where she was. I have not spoken to a single American since I arrived, that's not why I came here. I have not approached a single filipina but I do smile a lot and greet everyone and have been approached by many, many women. I should also tell you I am not a city guy. We have been building a house and a farm on Leyte, which is nearing completion and I am content with that.

Another good video, Reekay. Been watching you off and on for several years now. I’ve lived in Cebu for a couple of years now. Always appreciate your perspective. I was here from 1981 - 1982. Had a great relationship in Olongapo. My youth (19 - 20 years old) and inexperience with relationships is what blew it. You are correct in that all one has to do here is start talking. Here, if they’re not interested, they have a way of letting you down that is painless and makes it easy to move on quickly to the next one. Western women could learn a lot from Filipinas in so many ways.

Take this advice with a bit of liberty. It’s okay to talk to a few girls and get a feel for stuff online first - it’s not terrible to have at least an outline of a plan. I met my girl on a dating site and she lives a few hours outside of Manila. I’d have never ended up there, but I went out and checked her and her family out. Was I already emotionally involved? Yeah sure - but I was fact-finding. I got a lot of attention when I went to a few local places, so there are always other options available. The more ‘out’ out the tourist haunts you go the more attention you’ll likely get and they’ll talk to you. If you go out and your plan is to just walk around and strike up conversations 3/4 blocks from your apartment - good luck with that, too. But it’ll be you and everyone else - particularly in the bigger cities.

Yes good vidéo. I arrive here in 1989 at the age of 22. And was no guides, no phones, no internet... but was wonderful. I see things changing in 35 years and yes having internet on the phone as screw a lot of the beauty of the people. (Not only in the Philippines but everywhere). Also the bars scenes. I'm in Cebu and it's nothing left compare with before... Everything is Karaoke or online meeting even for banging. Westerners bars are very lousy our days... and bikini bars are almost inexistent. The few left are expensive but VERY VERY lousy.... Never regret coming here in the Philippines so early. Now you have so many men coming to Philippines to retire. So yes the there are many men now looking for women. So the ladies know there is another man to pick from. The scams have unfortunately gone both ways. There are foreigners who take advantage of Filipinas before they go to the Philippines and then once they arrive. So good Filipinos become skeptical even though there are so many of us who would not take advantage. What's funny to watch is when a guy who wants to take advantage of a Filipina hooks up with a Filipina who wants to take advantage of them. Hahaha, get some popcorn and sit back and watch. The feel I get from your videos is that a Foreign guy who is 60 + in the Philippines, is fit, clean, well groomed, dresses well, is financially educated and has his life together and is fun to be with, has a good SMV and if a girl likes him and thinks he is a catch she WILL make an effort to keep him, this sort of guy does not have to do much apart from have fun, hang out and the rest 😀 his body language and actions speak all the necessary words

The reality is that dating in the Philippines and SEA in general is not as good as it used to be, that's just how it is, over exposure to foreigners, smart phones etc. Can you still find a girl in the Philippines, sure, but the good ones are much harder to find nowadays and of course some areas are better than others.

I first came to the Philippines 2008. It was a better time to be American in the Philippines than back home in recession. Im back again, I do see the changes. Still it's a good place to be. Stay away from bar girls, stick with regular women and you'll be okay. Of course vet your woman before anything becomes serious. If you don't listen and keep sending them money especially before meeting them. That's on you, don't be surprised when they take advantage of you.

I don't know if this makes me an OG of the Philippine's. I was in the Philippine's from 1984-1986 in the Air Force. I loved it!!! I wasn't 50. but I was 20 and had a Filipina girlfriend(no she wasn't a bar girl) She was a province girl , I really loved her😌😌(should have married her) but I was young and wanted to see the world. I left the Philippine's and went to Germany. Retired from the Air Force and will retire next year form working and will be leaving America permanently. I plan on traveling thru out South East Asia( been to Thailand back in the 80's and yall think Bangkok was wild now!! Oh the stories I could tell😎) before I settle down in one country. Philippine's is a choice but its my 3rd choice. Yeah, based off of what I have seen of Manila, yeah it has CHANGED a LOT!!!! But I still think Filipinas are the most BEAUTIFUL women in South east Asia by far. So the good times you know and the good times I know are really not the same but I digress. I agree 100%. The only thing that bothers me about approaching Filipinas is I don't know before hand if she has kid(s), especially young kid(s). That's a deal breaker for me if she does. It's OK if she has one older kid (16yo or older) but not young ones. If only there was way to know her situation before I approach. I hate to turn a woman down after we've exchange numbers when I find out she has kid(s), especially if she is feeling me and had her hopes up. That's my biggest issue here in the Philippines. I've been all over asia and I'd say if you want a nice girl for marriage, either go way out in the province... at least 1-2 hours from a big city.... If you want a good women who is traditional go to vietnam, there are nice covered traditional women everywhere. very conservative, pretty and simple. Way less scammers etc... filipina's could all pretty much write courses on how to scam white guys... and now even if you find a good filipina, you would want to live near a city, they will find friends with bad intentions and you are going to get scammed...

I'm living and traveling in Vietnam now for 5 months and have yet to meet a genuine girl wanting to date a foreigner. The big tourist cities had many scammer girls and the other areas they can't speak English so they act afraid and don't want to talk using phone translation. I totally agree with staying away from the dating sites. I met my Filipina wife online, but it was through the course of my job ... not a dating site. We became casual friends, but not in a relationship. Five years later, I thought about moving to the Philippines to escape the increasing man-hating in the USA. I did a boots on the ground recon first for a few weeks ... and visited my friend in Bohol and got to know her better. When I came back permanently a second time, we began dating and got married.

Two thoughts. Firstly, the way I see it, guys who are easily discouraged by those channels saying "the golden age is gone!" aren't fit to deal with the plethora of actual challenges they'll need to face when living in the Philippines. So, they'll probably do better in the West. Secondly, of the hundreds of thousands of people that watch YT channels, I'd say only 5% will actually make it to the Philippines and LIVE in the Philippines, and I'm probably being too generous with that number. Now, if you again narrow that 5% to guys who are able to cold approach a woman (maybe a 10%?), the resulting number of expats is so ridiculous that you need to understand their reality is extremely different from those wasting their time online, taking turns to entertain the minority of scammers.

Well, you can do that, but it gives no guarantee either. No matter how you meet your girl, you need to vet, test and analyze her. Throughout many months, before commiting to her. So if you came to the Philippines just for 3 weeks, and have found some girl, you would never know everything about her from within such a small time perioud. And you will be forcefully comitted to her, because you probably already had s3x and it's a right thing to do, right? But, at the same time you can't be sure about anything practically. So there are pluses of meeting someone online prior your trip, at least it will give you some more information that you can analyze. That does not mean you need to send money.

I recently found a Filipina who lives in Bohol and works in Malaysia in a care facility. She has asked me to move to Malaysia and live in the apartment she pays for and save money for a year so we can purchase a house. Her family is 100 percent us and they have said they do not and will not ask for money. Her a parents only want her home and happy. Including my ex-wife I was onto my third scammer. Now i live in the Philippines 50 50. I met a woman on Christian Filipina and went on a date with her. I fell madly in love with her she seemed to be the same way. Then, the next day, I got a message from her and she said she had been on her own a long time and wasn't ready for commitment. I said please give me the opportunity to change your mind. Next date she came on a pretext of taking her auntie to the Doctor. It was polite but cool. I bought her a new handbag which I insisted on doing since it was near her birthday. It's been a couple of days no messages. In all that time, she refused to take a cent off me for the taxi bus or even a tricycle. This truly sucks. I am going to do things the old fashioned way again. I think there is something about the biological progression of meeting someone in person.

Never break the rules of the game. She must adore you more than you adore her or it’s going to end badly. Sounds like you got lucky here with a quick lesson on respect. Respect yourself first if you ever hope for her to respect you. Chasing and gifts do the opposite of what you might think. Whereas, if you thank her for being honest and wish her the best while moving on to another target then that might actually spark her response in attraction rather than repulsion.

They can get out of their country much easier than getting a partner to sponsor them. All they do is enroll into some nursing college which are all subsidised by government or foreign churches. And boom, they will hain access to job agencies to give them working visas to many different countries.

there is no 'best place'. good women can be found on every island. maybe less so in big, urban cities like manila or cebu. but the best women are not restricted to one area.
