Off subject but wanted to comment on this anyway. The crux of the issue with Nix vs McCarthy imo: is McCarthy so clearly so much better that you would give up 2-3 1st rounders and possibly Surtain? Vs staying at 12, keeping all those assets, or even better, trading back, getting Nix and bonus assets. I think Nix and assets because QBs are an inherent high risk to begin with.

The throwbacks rock! And the video with Surtain and Gradishar is great. (But I‘ll admit that in 1996 I was ready for something new… even if I disliked the ‘predominantly orange’ result.) Winning two championships in those ‘Nike swoosh’ uniforms made them last as long as they did. The ‘Mile High Collection’ is a necessary update. The design is pretty average, but is still an improvement. How long they last will be tied to their success on the field.

The Edsel was futuristic The Mustang II was new and improved. K Car was a new concept. Now, all the car companies have gone back to their 60’s muscle car looks. The throwback uniforms are great, sometimes old things are better looking than new things. OK, I’m going to go yell at some clouds.

When you've been through some really bad times, you learn to weed out the noise, and at the end of the day, how a team dresses is just noise compared to a whole lot of things a person could go through. Glad you said that Cecil and brought it back home. Also glad you're aware enough to realize we are indeed on the verge of WWIII. A lot of people seem to be oblivious to that fact.
