I recently picked up a pair of these and I'm quite pleased. I have them in a pretty big room and they sound fantastic. I agree with you that the sweet spot is at least 5-6 ft away. IMO the speaker is well balanced, accurate, fast and tight. They're great for my use case ( 2 channel stereo casual listening). I like 'em. Thanks for the video👍🏽

Great content! Any speakers in this price range that you would consider “giant” killers?

@ItalianCJM8232 I appreciate it! Polk bookshelf speakers are excellent. Triangle brand is fantastic, too. Arendal of course. Just to name a few

@@Kpaceguy Based on your videos and how much you gloated about the L200's I got a deal and paid $800 for a pair of mint L200's in walnut finish. They look and sound amazing, now I'm wondering what their center and floorstanders sound like but they are hard to come by.

@samidebs3559 I'm a big fan of edifier speakers but I've actually been using these 20yr old onkyo speakers that impress me soooo much!

Great review. I own the SVS Prime Bookshelfs and have been thinking about the Elac DB63. Have you had any experience with the SVS prime bookshelfs?
@Kpaceguy14 күн бұрын
@adamcarver6036 Yes, I've reviewed them. Soon to review the new bookshelves as well .
@adamcarver603614 күн бұрын
@Kpaceguy would the Elac's be an upgrade or a lateral movement?
@Kpaceguy14 күн бұрын
I think the Elac's are a clearly better speaker. They won't blow the svs out of the water. It's like owning a corolla and moving up to a camry.

I have Triangle Bro 3 with Rel 1003 and SVS 1000 sealed subs. I enjoy treble because I'm 70 years young and I'm sure that I can't hear above 12,000 hertz. Question is? Would you go for Dali Oberon 1 or these Elac's? Does anyone have any experience with that speaker set?
@Kpaceguy9 күн бұрын
I'd keep the triangles unless you want more bass out of your bookshelf

@@Kpaceguy Thanks! Unfortunately I am an audio junkie and upgrading is my fix. What at less than $750 a pair would represent an upgrade in your learned opinion?

Hello! New subscriber! I’ve got a pair of Martin Logan XT B100’s drive by a Schiit stack with a pair of Gjallarhorn amps as monoblocks. I’m in need of a good sub under $1000. I use a WiiM Ultra as a streamer/preamp. It has a single RCA sub out. Ideas Everyone?
@carloslong8399 күн бұрын
Depending on your orientation of 2 channel music or theater...sealed sub for music and ported for theatre. Here's another perspective...I am into music and I have first Gen Rel 1003 $349 and SVS SB 1000 $399. For $750 I have killer subs and my Wiim ULTRA provides crossover and DSP support. Dual subs solve the problem of frequency deviation at differing listening spots. OR? You could buy a killer Rhythmic, SVS or Rel (Music) vs theater sub. If you want tiny, go for the SVS micro sub that dips down to less than 20 Hertz.
