Some more knowledge in context of the subject matter: Hindus have "Shush Peerhi" which are very similar to 6 kalimas, and these kalimas were essentially put up to counter the hindu version since the society in Indo Pak was so intermingled and the Scholars of those times tried to preserve core Islamic beliefs through these Kalimas.

THANK YOU!! Someone finally talks about this, reverts will be confused... Esp me I'm Desi and even the Hindus around us will not know how many Surahs in Quran or what is a Hadeeth etc.. But will know what exactly this 6 Kalima (Chay Kalima) thing is. And as a girl who reverted to Islam, I was confused profusely. Who ever I was to talk to whether Indian Hindu or Christian they'll ask you "Mujhy chay kalima parh ky dikhao" and when I did not know what it was they would say I am fake Muslim LOL. Then I got to know this is another Bidah/Barelvi/Desi innovation! This kind of knowledge is good it makes people aware of true teachings of Quran and Sunnah and not innovated practices.

He could of just said.. It was just structure for kids. Nothing wrong with Numbering Ahadith. That's like saying its bid'ah to say JUZ one or two etc

ordering the ajzaa' in numbers or even the starting words of the suwar (chapters) is just for organization and ease. Shaykh is saying that structuring our aqeedah into the 'six kalimahs' may be problematic because kids will only focus on this instead of the Quran and Sunnah.. and Allah knows best

@ibnMuharis. but the structure is not based on Aqeeda. Its just a mere structure.. He probably assumes its to do with Aqeedah, is best to ask. Those Kalimas with many other duas are compiled together. Just as you would find a book that has hadith 1 to 10.. while revising with a child you tell them 'read read Hadith one i.e 1st one in the book its doesn't necessarily mean the hadith's name is really 'one'

@@A.R-wt2rn In pakistan if you dont know the 6 kalimahs, many would say u are not a good muslim. The shaikh knows how far people have taken this. They have made the 6 kalimahs a fundamental part of the belief system to the point they have to recite it at marriages to testify their belief in islam. if someone in Pakistan asks you to recited the first kalimah and you dont know what hes talking about they will call you non muslim. Some of the kalimahs like he said are not from ahadith. but to say there are 6 and have them structured from 1-6. it is a bidah. this wasnt taught to us by the messenger of Allah. I am pakistani, they had me memorise and recite these at my wedding. pakistanis will test your iman by asking u to recite the kalimahs. its a thing way beyond just structuring. we take our structure from the messenger anyway.

@@TH-oo9ww so because a certain nation use something incorrectly it means that thing is haraam, in that case the entire would world should stop manufacturing knives because in London people use it to stab eachother. Sahabah did not learn the Quraan according to the azjaa so does it mean those who are memorizing the Quraan following the system based on ajazaa should stop because some ignorant nation somewhere thinks its a sunnah?
