Are The WRC Games Good Now? - WRC 10 The Review

I feel like a racing god when i first started wrc9, beating loeb and ogier in career mode, until i realized that ABS and TCS was turned on (1:00). I both turned them off and from that point i feel like a guy who just got out of a pub, crashing through corners like a penguin sliding towards a cliff Now my legacy will resume in WRC10, its on sale right now as well!

If I'm correct, the beat up cars on the stage are meant to be there, as if it's a competitor that's crashed out. This used to happen in wrc rally evolved (5th game in original PS2 series) 🙂

Ever since WRC7 came out, the WRC games have been pretty great. I absolutely love their stage designs. Nailing those tight sections is incredibly satisfying.

@@bucclao209 I personally play on PC and it's fairly easy to make it run at 120hz. I believe that's also an option on PS5 and Series X with the performance settings.

I spent SO much time on the first WRC game after long-anticipating its release. I’d played it again recently, but this time, using a steering wheel… …holds up to this day. That said… WRC 10 is, REALLY, an amazing experience. DiRT rally 2.0 is still my all-time favorite, but WRC 10 a VERY close second. …AMAZING. We’re in a golden age, as gamers. Just got wry 10 and after playing Sebastian lobes evo rally racing to which I thought was the shit and enjoyed this game is insane. The track detail is way above along with many attentions to detail of rally racing. Sure the game mentions was sweet this is crazy

I quit playing Dirt altogether once WRC 8 came out. The course difficulty and scenic views is what kept me coming back. While Dirt collected dust.

great conclusion, a bit the same as back in the day with Colin mcRae vs WRC, both had their strengts, surprisingly similar to these 2, McRae for the damage and for me an intangible fun element, WRC for the sense of speed and official liveries etc. Also gfx both had plus and minuses, again similar to these two, with in my view WRC looking more realistic, just a more gritty color tone. Anyhow, your conclusion of 'depends what gels for you' is the only right one I think. Glad these two are together on the market, once I finally have my pc back after a moving, will surely give them a spin 🙂

Nope. Handling is great on a decent wheel with a fast TV. The thing needing updating most is the engine sounds.

You must lift up bumper camera higher. Camera setting every car(. See more Road. Advice. I playing 2 days. The controller steering need set negatív lower for precis turning. And normal deadzone too. I watched video for setting.

Picked the deluxe version for $10 bucks today. Never played a WRC game and I'm coming from Dirt 4/Rally 2.0 so this wasa great and informative video regarding what I can expect

I own wrc 9, and really enjoy it. I own dirt 2.0, and really enjoy it. Both games are great rally games on its way. The wrc career mode is far away better than the dirt 2.0 mode, and I don't like rally cross races. But, in my opinion, dirt 2.0 has better physics and graphics, even for an older game.

Maybe up the difficulty and you won't win so easy. Meteorologist didn't show the end of last weather report because you have to upgrade him to show all of the stage changes in regards to weather.

WRC 10 seems broken. I just downloaded it last night, and the throttle just keeps going silly. Over revs at any gear doesn't go over 40 - 50 k's i had to slowly push the throttle in really slowly to gain any speed otherwise it just rev's out at 40k's on any gear. No wonder it had mixed reviews on steam. Fucking things still broken.

I had to refund it, controller support for dualshock 4 in pc was terrible.

No matter what they do, I test these WRC games every time another out comes out and it's always the same: They all fell dull as fuck, looks dull, sounds dull, and the illumination is so alien and unlit it's so weird. Dirt Rally 2 is so easy to get into and have a blast with no fuss, but this is so stiff and the menus are bad and it just doesn't click at all.

The prob with all rally games is they don’t have enough going on it’s always a clean track no real surprise or hidden things no real complicated surface combinations or obstacles hidden big rocks or grates etc just types of surface and turns. They are really fun driving games and do have good feel and stuff and fun stages but I think they all miss the point of what a rally game could be and are more making this weird sorta “type of game” almost like tony hawk. Hope a really wild rally sim comes out but it would be pretty complex and maybe not even fun but I hope someone makes it eventually. IRL rally has more straits than these games and then hyper complicated sections designed to trick you into serious damage and failure it’s way way more aggressive imo and just turning up damage doesn’t do this.

Dirt Rally 2.0 is far far Superior. The cars sound better, they drive better. The crash better. WRC 10 is full of weird glitchy bugs. Can even drive it and i just bought it sigh.

Far far superior in what aspect? Graphics and car roster are better, but that's about it. The simulation is far more advanced in WRC10, people just confuse difficulty with realism.
