Looking forward to seeing any possible Tri-color girls just like Apple! Still trying to convince my folks into getting a Cavalier once the older of our two Shih Tzus has passed. I've developed some some health issues that have kept me me homebound over the last 5-6yrs thanks to Covid19 causing further complications, so I'm alone with our two dogs for most of everyday. It's my understanding through all of the homework I've been doing that Cavaliers can make for great family pets/service companions for people with medical conditions since they are eager to please and overall easy to train. Like most dogs, all a Cavalier wants to do is be with their favorite person/people all the time!

I went back and watched well all your videos then but especially Bootsie’s litter was curious to how you chose her etc…pulled a name switch a roo…which I would have had to do as well. Absolutely. She doesn't need any more caloric intake until near the end, but she has been getting supplementation since she was bred. The most important supplement is Folic Acid, which reduces the likelihood of midline defects. I use a specialized dog food that is designed to provide all the micronutrients necessary in the first 2 trimesters - in the old days, I had to add all the supplements myself.

There are actually 2 dads; because of DNA testing, we are now able to do that, and determine which puppy comes from which sire. They are both Blenheims, and both of similar type.
