Also... random and unpredictable wireless disconnects (on my Sony XM5) or the battery dropping low, two more worries I'd rather not have to deal with.

AIAIAI also got the DJ version for their wireless headphone, and it's 200 cheaper. You can easily change the headphone sound as their earcup are easy to switch, and also different foam option, that can really change the sound from one to another (and all that with the possibility to easily switch a broken part). And with all those modular possibility, taking the studio and DJ speaker for multiple option, and even add all the foam option to try them all, it would still be cheaper (and surely more sustainable) than this HDJ-F10. It's nice that AlphaTheta go into this new(ish) zero latency wireless market, as it will probably make other brand doing it too, but their price range is completly not realistic, even if they had that kind of integration with their mixer you talk about.

I love my Pioneer HDJ X7! For many years I was using the Beats From Dr. Dree but when I switched this summer, i felt the difference right away quality wise and from the professional side of view.

Same here. I bought mine last year, but these do seem a great idea. I think once the new DJ Controllers/Gear includes the transmitter built in then I’ll seriously think about these. Those HDJ X7’s are gonna be hard to beat. I love mine.

Or for just £40 you can buy a lakato wireless IEM adapter and attach it to any pair of headphones for low latency wireless connection. Simple attach it to your headband with a small cable, ok its not as sleek as it being built in but for £40 you can't go wrong

The US price for the Headphones is incorrect the video. The Headphone alone is $389 not $329. In addition on the Crossfader website the Transceiver price is incorrect for the US, it should show $129, it is currently showing it as $169.

Many people are gonna forget those soniclinks in the booths. 😂😂 anyways good concept. You can used your rode mic transmitter to get 4ms latency and use it with any headphones.

@Lostin20242 күн бұрын
Serious question, not trolling. I’ve been a Las Vegas DJ for almost 25 years now…. Never broke a single pair of headphones while working. What are people doing behind the decks (yourself included) that you need wireless headphones to prevent breakage? Am I missing something? I get Steve Aoki and Skrillex because those dudes are doing borderline gymnastics behind the decks but for regular DJs it just seems like wireless headphones are another potential way for something to go wrong. Also with how many DJs no longer use headphones while playing out because their sets are preprogrammed or literally fake, why bother at this point? 🤷🏼
@djerniet3502 күн бұрын
Are you a DJ? I play out and my sets are not preprogrammed as I even take request. I play many public events here in Houston, different events and crowds. Also play for college, and all grade level of schools. I tried wireless but latency was to much. I use in ear monitors (shure) only 99 dollars. But I hate the wire still. I want to move around, with out pulling the wire. I have added a sprial wire from the mixer to my headphones for flexibility. It still gets pulled out when I need to step from behind the booth. So if someone comes up with better wireless earphones I am all for it. But I will not be getting these. Pioneer lost me when I got rid of the DDJ SZ, because they always leave out features and make you buy more get to get the next feature. I am Denon prime4 and prime go now. I also use Dani transmitter and recievers for wireless speaker placement and they work awesome.

In the past two years, I've purchased and returned two sets of Pioneer headphones. One being too boomy (HDJ-X10) and the other being too shrill (HDJ-X10). I ended up just purchasing another Sennheiser HD-25. Before they add features, they really need to focus on sound quality.

Have these people ever DJ'ed in a club? You can barely hear the headphones, never mind worrying about "sound quality." Not sure what is happening at "Pioneer" anymore but club gear (headphones etc) take a lot of abuse (I know mine do), you need something durable not fancy.

When you have to review something you don't believe in. There is currently no technology that would enable better signal transmission than cable.
