Are these better than starbucks...?!

Let's make my 2 new favourite Starbucks Holiday2023 Gingerbread Drinks! The gingerbread latte and oat milk gingerbread iced chai!
Get the recipes below:
Gingerbread Latte:
1 double shot espresso or 1/4 cup strong brewed coffee
1 1/2 cups oat milk
2 tbsp gingerbread syrup (recipe in video)
vegan whipped topping
sprinkle of pumpkin spice or cinnamon for topping
Oat Milk Gingerbread Iced Chai:
Fill cup with iced
1/2 cup chai concentrate (more or less based personal preference)
Splash of oat milk
1/2 cup oat milk for cold foam + 1-2 tbsp gingerbread syrup
sprinkle of pumpkin spice or cinnamon for topping

The Starbucks pumpkin cream cheese muffins were my absolute favorite until that fateful day I found out I was allergic to eggs. I also really love their Mallorca sweet bread it’s so soft and sweet and light! It was a wonderful treat to have with coffee

Not sure if it’s different in Canada but the chai concentrate in North America is not vegan at Starbucks. It contains honey!

Starbucks actually uses tazo chai concentrate in their drinks! I believe I heard their supply is stronger/more concentrated than the store bought version, though.

I ve only had Starbucks twice, wasn't impressed. It was mostly watered-down coffee with cheap whipped cream.

Haha yes their coffee itself is not good!! Tastes so burnt which is why you need to add lots of sugar 😂

I just normally don’t use it if I am adding syrup or anything to the milk because I’m scared of the wand getting sticky inside haha! But you probably can :)

Please try making the apple crisp latte! I got one once (like.. start of fall so maybe not Holiday) and it tasted like a regular latte... so I have no idea how it was supposed to be different but it sounded so good

This looks so good and I can't wait to make my own gingerbread syrup! Unfortunately molasses is not a thing where I live, so is there anything else I could use as a substitute?

Hmm I’m not sure - you could use brown sugar instead of white to get more of that molasses flavour, but molasses unfortunately is what gives it that gingerbread taste! But it will still taste yummy without it I’m sure, just different!
