10:59 Yup, Scourge is pronounced like "urge" with a "Sc" at the front. The name was pitched by Ian Flynn (since he got the name and redesign simultaneously), and that's how he says it (he was just called "Anti-Sonic" before, I think). Also, I believe the first "e" in Mike Pellerito's surname is soft, and Patrick "Spazinate"'s last name is actually Spaziante (pronounced "Spaz-ee-an-tay").

haha got 10 out of 10 also extra fun lore for fiona: tails had a crush on her (after finding her robot double on a island then nearly getting roboticized, its a whole thing) while sonic dated her and it caused tails to become the enemy of the state and jail break his father and the only reason sonic dated fiona was cus he broke up with sally and didnt want tails to get his heart broken. Theres also a really funny line that aged like milk of tails saying "SO YOU HOOKED UP WITH FIONA TO HELP ME?!".

11:44 Another fun fact about Scourge: I can’t remember if it was confirmed or not but i remember seeing that he might’ve been based on a glitch for Sonic 1 (I think) where it would turn sonic green and black. That was then adapted into a character that inspired Scourge’s final design. Again, can’t remember if it was confirmed or not.

There was a glitch like that in Sonic 2, which ended up getting the nickname "Ashura" by the community. Don't know about the Scourge situation to be certain, but the Ashura glitch definitely inspired another Sonic comic rival: Surge the Tenrec from the IDW Sonic comics.

I still kind of wish that Lilac the Dragon was one of the "fake" Sonic characters listed in this video. She was literally created as a Sonic OC (back in 2001!) and was licensed to be a playable character in _Freedom Planet,_ which also started as a _Sonic_ fan game! (Though she was originally designed as a hedgehog, before being redesigned as a dragon for the obvious legal reasons.)

For Fiona Fox's story in the comics. Tails had a huge crush on her, Sonic knew Tails didn't stand a chance with Fiona so he dated her to "help out" Tails which pissed off Tails for like 10 comic issues, they fight over it and Sonic eventually just dumps Fiona which leads to Fiona going to Scourge. not Fiona dumping Sonic for Scourge.

My first 10/10!! The backstories really help. Off as Justin Beaver might feel, no one is going to make an oc so detached from the main character's conflicts. Good counter example being Daniela! Hey if you ever do another round of this, I have some suggestions of what characters you could include! :D For fake: Bedlam from Sonic Stop Motion Adventures; a youtube series by Piplupfan77 that ran from 2009-2018. Bedlam was the penultimate villain of the series and was the "moderator of the Chaos Emeralds". Also his unofficial theme song is Figure.09 lmao- Zielo from The Murder of Me; a fan-comic written by Gigi-D that started in 2011 before Sonic.EXE was created! The story takes place in an alternate universe where Sonic, Shadow, and Silver are the descendants of an old forgotten god. Zielo is the brother of this god corrupted by Sin, and after killing both his brothers, intends to corrupt the world by turning everyone soulless. (It's a long story😅) Project SNT from... SNT Comic; a sprite comic written by youtuber Courtney (Project SNT) about the titular character SNT. An experiment created by Eggman to combine the powers of Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails to... Mixed results. She has Sonic's speed, Knux's strength, and Tails' tails... But her weakness is *plexiglass*. SNT is loved by everyone in her universe, because she's ✨special✨. Also in her canon, she took part in the war during Sonic Forces, and yes Infinite did also fall in love Rewrite, a character created by Springlessmusic(youtube)/Springlessecho(Twitter); Rewrite was an AI designed by a priest to scam people into thinking they were talking to God, the AI then became sentient and began to believe it *was* God, so it was locked in a game based on Sonic's adventures where it took the form of the blue blur and could bend the game's reality to it's will. (Admittedly this one is an EXE and therefore does take place in "the real world" rather than Sonic's world, but the characters have mentioned the games during twitter takeovers and I feel like this story sounds just plausible enough to have happened in the Fleetway or early Archie comics😅) And now for real characters: Bokkun from Sonic X; a messenger robot created by Eggman to deliver announcements to Sonic and the gang. These messages would be shown on a small monitor that would explode when the message ended. Bokkun acts more like an annoying little kid than a robot, and has small schoolyard crush on Cream. Fleetway/Super Sonic from Sonic The Comic; a sadistic version of Super Sonic that occurred as a result of over-exposure to Chaos energy or Sonic experiencing extreme stress. This version of Super Sonic then became a seperate entity when a Star Post was used to channel the Chaos energy out of Sonic. After an explosion Super lost his memories and became more friendly, he got a job at a coffee bar where he became friends with the owner and witch Ebony and her psychic friend Pyjamas who helped him regain his memories, causing him to turn evil again. So Ebony and Pyjamas erased his memories and he continued to live life peacefully until it was realized that he was dying as result of his Chaos energy running out. The only way to save him was to be recharged by Perfect Chaos, which unfortunately turned him evil once again, so for the safety of everyone Sonic and Super were fused back into one person. (This version of Super Sonic is also considered to be an "EXE" after being in the FNF mod, and is generally what most people recognize him from. Which could be a good way to stump people for this challenge!) Rabbot-Zilla from the Archie Comics; a monster/kaiju version of Bunnie Rabbot from an alternate universe where Chaos Emerald radiation causes mobians to transform into giant horrific monsters. The Dr Kintobor of this universe created a roboticization virus to contain the threat of these monsters, but the monsters developed an immunity leading to Bunnie's only partially roboticized form. Eclipse the Darkling from the Archie Comics; After the events of Shadow The Hedgehog, Eclipse was created as the Black Arms' solution to Shadow, being dubbed "the Ultimate Alien". Eclipse's purpose was to destroy Shadow, but he quickly changed his goal to try and get his "brother" to join the Black Arms instead. When Shadow kills Black Death and the New Black Comet is destroyed, Eclipse's goal shifts again to protect the remaining members of the Black Arms(The Dark Arms) and get revenge on Shadow.
