Guys, can you help to verify if the Modmic USB 2 can be detected as mic input in MacOS Whatsapp Call? Been looking for a mic to couple with my Hifiman Ananda but seems like usb input is an issue for Whatsapp call

It's detected as a USB input for me which means it should work for any call using the Mac including WhatsApp.

@@dhrmelife That's 2 different thing though. It's all over reddit too , Mac detected my MV7 as input and I have no issue with zoom teams telegram voice notes etc. Only Whatsapp is the weirdo 😞

@@dhrmelife guess it's like your recommendation and go for 3.5mm instead of USB. Maze Audio had just released their boom mic too, that sounds amazing
