As much as I like the OG, I like the Legacy spinners more because how customizable they are. The whole point about the spinners idea was to customize the spinner itself. That why they gave kids the Booster Packs.

i like both, the OG ones for play and for being customizable, and the Legacy/Forbidden Spinjitzu ones for display and accuracy

Kai’s hood isn’t actually the only piece exclusive to the dragon spinjitzu spinner sets, since Ras’ armour piece in black is new (it was in pearl dark grey before, and doesn’t come in the jet set at all)

tbh i kinda like the core spinners for their show accuracy. you can also just display them without the dome and it looks pretty good.

I genuinely think the 2025 spinners are the second or maybe first best spinners we’ve had, there customizable, fun, and look show acurate

I reckon they’re second to the legacy spinners, because the legacy ones are definitely the most show accurate, and are more customisable, but the new ones’ launcher function is really great and the way they battle works really well. (I’d put the FS ones in 3rd, and the original ones 4th)

The very first one back in 2011 was the first time ever that got me hooked in ninjago and introduced me to like beyblade as well. Its a nice nod to the golden era and by far my favorite.❤

Honestly the first Dragons Rising spinners (mostly Lloyd's cus it's actually meant to spin) feel the most like a direct evolution of the 2011/2012 spinners Similar size, same way to launch them, both customisable

Yeah I agree, core spinners are the worst, they have cool minifigures but what in my opinion makes them the worst is the lack value, all you can do is make them spin. You can't do tricks, you can't battle with them, you just buy them, play with them for a five minutes and you forget about them

i agree, also the exclusive figures aren't that great, for starters, they reuse the Legacy 2 legs instead of the season 13 ones. Aditionally Cole is the only one who uses it in the series, the spinner should have just come in a cheap $20 set

hot take: og spinners are the worst. yes, theyre customizable, but so are the legacy ones. they also are an eyesore (with the legacy ones not being one), with just being circular bricks. playing with them is hard too, as trying to aim the spinner at an opponent to 'battle' is very hard. the booster packs were cool though as they came with good non exclusive figs and some cool parts

I don’t think there as bad as the sons of garmadon spinners because they are all the same but I think the main reason people like them is because the battles are pretty unique and mainly NOSTALGIA
