I can't speak for anyone else, but I like this because it's wacky. In COTD you're pretty much guaranteed that it's gonna be something pretty drivable. Bonk cup is pretty much guaranteed to be crazy, and as long as it's not something entirely random it's a lot more fun to watch.

I'm really enjoying the Bonk Cup vids, though I hope Wirt isn't putting too much pressure on himself for not winning one. I'm also not sure how far behind these are as I was able to catch yesterday's stream. There seems to be plenty of luck of what sort of map comes up. Plus, with the entire concept being very little time to learn, mistakes happen. I also wonder how much more competition has appeared from getting this popularized through streams.

I am not a trackmania player and I dont have it installed so i cannot check but judging by the physics aren't you supposed to full crash the wall at 14:55 without doing any steering inputs (Wirtual is steeing to the left causing the car to be at 90 degrees - my idea is to be at either 0 or 45 degrees instead)? The plastic bounce looks incredibly strong so it would just push you to the left anyways and let you do a much sharper right into the finish no?
