Lovely ep and areas and setup guys,, We have a 10% GVM upgrade in our 80 giving us 3256kg gvm and to be legal with 5 adults and 16 year old daughter in the 4wd we have no draws and no winch, a light Alloy bull bar, no Awnings or RTT tents, just a small box of spares and two light fridges and two lithium batteries in the back of the 80 series, which lets us tow our old Wind Up Jayco van, with say 100 to 150kg to spare in the 80, and around the same with the Vans GVM.

Its an 80 series...its a very capable 4wd. Chuck some bushwraps protective coating on the panels and raptor coat the underbody if you want to preserve it...then use it for its intended purpose and take it down some tracks. I wouldnt say go and run it through mud pits, treat it like a mountain goat and go rock crawling, or tackle 5ft salt water crossings... because it is a very tidy example. But theres no point putting a lift kit in, and a roof top tent on, bigger wheels and kitting it out with touring gear, just to pull up in a caravan park or truck stop for an overnighter. Ships are safest in the harbour, but thats not what theyre designed for. Maybe buy sez, a rav4 or kluger instead😂😂
