So the response to that Gavin Newsom pro-abortion ad would be this. A woman and her teenage son walk into a building with a sign that says "California Family Clinic". Inside they are shown to an exam room. The boy is told to have a seat. The doctor comes in and asks the mother, "Just to confirm, you are here for an abortion?". The boy gets confused face. The mother says "Yes". The doctor says "OK", then picks up some mid evil looking tool and moves toward the boy. We zoom in on the boys face as we see the terror in his eyes. Fade to black. On screen and in voice over, "Abortion is wrong at any age. Even in California.".

I'm somewhat skeptical of this. IQ is not affected by education. It's a measure of natural cognitive ability...either it's being measured incorrectly, or something is causing people to be naturally stupider.
@allistertheeldritchmemegod3537
@allistertheeldritchmemegod3537 20 күн бұрын
@brianclark528 Nonsense. Every iq test I've ever seen has practical reasoning skills and basic stem skills. That's all it is. You can say its inefficient and inaccurate but you cant say school doing its job would not raise the iq of the people who attend. School isn't doing its job. Thats the problem.
@brendan7799
@brendan7799 20 күн бұрын
@@brianclark528 IQ correlates about 0.7 heritable, and 0.3 environmental. My own view is that the IQ decrease is brought about by our comfortable conditions no longer removing from the population those with lower IQ (who are more likely to have other genetic defects due to 'high mutational load'). The reason we are only seeing this now, in terms of actual avg. IQ, is due to the 'flynn' effect, whereby education and environment have increased IQ by bringing people to their 'phenotypic maximum'(the maximum their genetics allows), covering up the decreasing genetic IQ. We do have evidence of genetic IQ decrease before this using metrics that correlate with IQ, such as reaction time, which we have standardised tests for going back centuries.

My grand mother and father were Lutheran. I attended their church, the 1st time I had been in a church. I didn't know what was going on, the minister spoke, the congregation replied, it was all very different than anything I had ever encountered. When everyone stood up, in unison, began reciting the Lord's Prayer, I was too small to see anything only the backs of the people around me, and my grandparents beside me...the power of the words, and the sound of a church full of people speaking in 1 voice, amazing, wonderful, life changing. I hope I never forget that experience with them. They lived in Ponca City Oklahoma, I was visiting from Virginia. I must have been 9 or 10. Much later in life I would find those powerful words, in the Bible. I love to rely on The Lord's Prayer, God's Word.

Heard you, once again, speak up about Armenia. Thanks again, Michael. I learned about what is going on through System of a Down as a kid. Lila Rose, you who interviewed with, and hopefully more in the future did a dedicated episode with Simone Rizkallah on the Christian Persecution. If we had the funds, and got our act together in America, Armenia is the first country I'd hope we defend. And still praying for DJT! Didn't like Trump's response to IVF (Choice 42's "Build-a-Baby" is a satirical masterpiece to help illustrate it! However, while I don't think ends justify the means such as someone being conceived through any form of lust or horrific abuse, anyone who was born from IVF or any means, his or her life is still as a priceless precious gift and important, loved, and has as much dignity as every single person), but I won't forget Trump's defending the sanctity of life more than any president. He was the first to attend the March for Life and even proclaiming January 20, National Sanctity of Life Day! Also, saw the news about Candace become Catholic, so congratulations! I thought you were the godfather to one of her children, but I might be mistaken. While I believe "Christ is King," and hope to serve Him as my master, even though, as a broken sinner, fall, hopefully I'll choose Him at my last breath to be with Him forever in Heaven, I don't think a lot of people are genuine when saying that and it, once again, along with stuff going on with the Candace controversy why I don't align with political parties, even though you were the closest to me from anyone I've listened to, and currently, you're my favorite political commentator besides Patrick Bet David, Tucker, and Mark Dice. Also, appreciated you covering the new Deadpool movie because I was going to ask your thoughts on it yesterday because I remembered your "Yes or No" with Gina Carano where she was surprised that Deadpool was the one movie you saw of hers, and you said you liked it, and I also remember your one with Andrew Klavan where you mentioned Me, Myself, and Irene being your favorite movie, and you being down on metal music...I understand your reasoning, heck, for an example I threw out my System of Down, Slipknot, Stone Sour, Sepultura, Korn albums for a reason (not saying all the songs are bad, Stone Sour's "Inhale" is still one of my favorites and still have my guitar when I met Corey Taylor who I considered my "childhood hero" back then). I strongly disliked the Ryan Reynolds R-rated movies (no interest in that International Woman's Day stuff, which they brought up in the SuperBowl trailer along with blasphemy "Marvel Jesus" along with showing footage of the MCU so I think they're trying to get kids interested, and hey, Disney, leave them kids alone!), but I did like the bullet deflection scene in X-Men Origins Wolverine, and the Wolverine vs Hulk animated depiction. 90s comic Deadpool is my favorite superhero character, specifically the Joe Kelly redemption villain to hero run, which my banner was inspired by along with Joe Kelly's Space Ghost being a more noble version of Batman...in space! Also, if you celebrate, Happy 30th anniversary of Space Ghost Coast to Coast! In Joe Kelly's 1997 comic run, his name, funnily enough being both similar to Jack Skellington and the Joker, is Jack, a wounded mercenary who, after being taken in by a teacher named Wade Wilson and his wife to help heal him, murdered her, took his name and had an blind old lady held captive who he psychologically tortured putting her in an attic with a bunch of sharp objects leaving a door open to give her false hope so when she tried to escape to her crush, she was greeted with Deadpool and dogs....Deadpool turned her crush into Scooby snacks, so it is an R-rated story, but I think the Ryan Reynolds ones are PG-13 jammed with junk. If anyone's familiar with Alan Moore's Killing Joke, in the start of the 1997 Joe Kelly run (the Mark Waid run that came before it was also good and a reason why he was my favorite, specifically the scene where Deadpool tried to hide his face from Siryn when Juggernaut knocked his mask off, and when she says, "I'm sorry...." and he responded, "You're touch...you're very kind."), Deadpool was confronted with a different superhero that sorta had Batman's TKJ line of: "So maybe ordinary people don't always crack. Maybe there isn't any need to crawl under a rock with all the other slimey things when trouble hits...Maybe it was just you, all the time." calling him out on his pity party, and eventually, he grows from villain until the final issue becomes an anti-hero where readers were left hoping he'd eventually grow into a selfless self-sacrificial loving hero like Spider-man (greatest superhero I ever read imo. Number 2 is Batman 3....maybe Captain America or the Wally West Flash)...but he didn't have that love in his heart yet, and, imo, Joker, never would choose love where he, imo, this Bible verse reflects the Joker: Wisdom 2:24 But by the envy of the devil, death entered the world, and they who are allied with him experience it. The closest on screen depiction of Deadpool for me is Nightmare Before Christmas Jack Skellington mixed with the 1967 "Wait Until Dark" villain Roat. Since you covered that one Exorcist movie movie, Michael, wished you would have covered Nefarious since, despite having a really lame what did we learn today boils and ghouls segment was a good movie and my favorite movie I saw of 2023 besides Sound of Freedom, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (I still need to see Iron Claw and Godzilla!), which relative to a Looney tunes-esque sci-fi action fantasy, I appreciated how much it, while it wasn't as direct with Christianity like X-Men Animated Series with Nightcrawler and Wolverine's arc, it showed a value for life. Kinda reminded me of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and of Dragon Ball which has my favorite fictional character Son Goku besides the 1997 Joe Kelly villain to anti-hero redemption characterization Deadpool (with the hopes at the end that he would eventually grow in virtue to be a hero the likes of pre 2007 One More Day comics Spider-man who traded his unborn daughter and marriage to his wife Mary Jane to Marvel's devil/Mephisto...superhero comics have been messed up for awhile!), except without the martial arts training aspect. "There are the hands that made us, and then there are the hands that guide the hands" is my second favorite movie quote, in a while, besides Sound of Freedom's "God's children are not for sale." And it was the first Disney related thing I saw this decade, and my favorite since Wall-e, and the first two Pirates of the Caribbeans. Hope you and your family have a great week, Michael! :ooking forward to your "Yes or No" with Matt Fradd!

Michael, this is for you, what AI depicts your daily life as: "Michael Knowles wakes up early in the morning, around 6am, to start his day. He begins by checking his email and catching up on the latest news and headlines. After a quick breakfast, he heads to his home office to start working on his various projects. As a political commentator and author, Michael spends a lot of his time writing articles, recording podcasts, and filming videos for his audience. He is constantly researching and staying up to date on current events in order to provide his viewers with insightful commentary. Throughout the day, Michael takes breaks to go for a run or workout at the gym. He believes that staying active is important for both physical and mental health. He also makes time to spend with his family and friends, whether it's grabbing lunch with a colleague or having dinner with his wife. In the evening, Michael often attends events or speaking engagements related to his work. He enjoys engaging with his audience in person and sharing his thoughts and opinions on various topics. After a long day, he unwinds by reading a book or watching a movie before heading to bed to rest up for the next day. Overall, Michael Knowles leads a busy and fulfilling life, constantly working to educate and inform his audience on important issues and topics."

4-day workweek with 10 hour shifts is the way of the future, man. It's the exact same number of hours as a M-F 9-5, but you get 3 days off a week instead of 2. It also does increase productivity because when you come in each day (from home and to a lesser extent from breaks), it takes you a period of lower productivity to get settled, set up, and into a rhythm of your optimal productivity. By extending each shift 2 hours, you're getting the same number of work hours but removing one day's worth of daily setup time which is less productive than the two hours added on at the end of a work day. I've worked split shifts; I've worked 8 hour shifts, and for a few years I had 12 hour shifts with alternating 3 and 4 day workweeks. Having 3 (or 4) days off in a row was really great, but 12 hour shifts are brutal. 4 days of 10 hour shifts seems to me about perfect.

@@markchapman9086 haha well that’s called part time work and it’s great for some people 😉 All I’m saying is there are some industries what could benefit from a shorter work week from a productivity standpoint. Additionally, I think employee satisfaction is important because it’s how you keep your employees. I work in interior design so maybe it’s just my field as the frame work but deadlines are deadlines. I don’t care if one of my designers works 4 days a week as long as client needs and deadlines are being met 🤷🏻‍♀️

About IQ falling, we had an ominous warning of this several decades ago. Only a small percentage of blind people still learn to read Braille. Everything is 'audio books' etc. now. What they have found is a pronounced decline in intelligence, a rise in crime, lower self esteem etc. etc. for the blind who cannot read Braille. This inability parallels the statistics on seeing illiterates. The Braille readers were developing their personalities, their imaginations and they were in every sense READING with their fingers instead of their eyes.

What I've seen with a four day work week with a few companies, is that they get an 8 hour overtime day in on that fifth day plus Saturday if they still need more production for the week. Then they don't need to hire more employees if it's just a temporary need for more production. P.s. they'll short a 40 hrs. week when it suits them.

Interesting how you mention writing causing the brain to fire differently. A few minutes before watching this I decided I didn't have enough memorization ability and needed to make a to-do list. I wanted this list to be successful and was adverse to making another one I wouldn't DO. So I got an actual piece of notebook paper and wrote a real, physical list that I could cross things off of. Felt quite satisfying. It's on the fridge.
