There's a guy called John Wolfe, i found his channel a month or so back. He was originally a gaming channel but he has been doing some debunking over the last few months. I remember he did a Nuke's video and there was a guy on a bike, and in Nuke's video there's this creepy noise. John found the original on TikTok and showed that there wasn't a creepy sound in the original. On his last video (Or maybe the one before, I'm not sure), he talked about the flash light trick that ghost hunters use and he actually said people should check out Mythos, because he did a video explaining how it worked. It sad that you can't even trust a scary clips channel to play the clip as is and not add in any effects or embellish the story. "Holy Macaroni cheese" I love that. Well done to Oli for a great clip, and your Dad 💟

(I'm now 61) Been watching Slapped Ham, Nuke and several other paranormal clip channels for years and have not once seen something that made me think "hmm, this one could actually be real". John Wolfe recently picked apart a Nuke video after commentators said he hadn't "really" debunked it, pointing out where Nuke had added sound effects, even which effects he'd used. It's pretty ridonk the lengths they're going to when there's plenty enough content out there.

Beardo, I think you had it right the second time. The "shadow figure" blocked the light for a couple of seconds and dipped back to the right (if you're facing the video). You're right though, it's a reflection dip of the light as the camera moves. You're main point is spot on: These fakers and reposting of fakers are taking people's time and money for nonsense. I never watch those kinda channels for "real" content. I like having the creepy vibe when I'm playing games. They can be entertaining as well, but from the perspective of just wanting something creepy. John Wolfe did a video of paranormal debunks a few weeks back ( great video, 100% recommend). One of the Top 5 channels showed a video of a guy riding a bike through the forest, before hearing a beastly scream and riding away quickly. He found the original video, and surprise surprise.... No scream. It was added in by the Top 5 channel (or by whoever submitted it). I've always been a sceptic, but it's just getting silly now. The faking is so obvious now.

I recently subscribed to your channel because I like the content! That being said, I'd like to say that I am also subscribed to many paranormal KZbin channels. I like to think that anyone with half a brain can enjoy the content while also understanding that the majority of it can be faked; however, it would seem that many of those channels have people who are blindly willing to believe anything they see without any critical thinking skills. I'm all for having a bit of fun by getting spooked, but I wish people would also understand that much of the content we are shown is fake, as seen here - and many other debunking channels as well! Keep an open mind, but don't let yourself get so easily fooled, either.

Nukes Top5s showed a clip about a music clip shot in Australia. The music video in the clip was directed by a friend of mine's brother and I have seen the clip myself, and I have been around the area the video was shot. The back story about a priest he spun must have been pulled out of his backside, as there was no seminary there. The figure wore a long coat not a cassock.

Funny thing this whole ghosts and spirit communication garble . When you experience these sort of things, you have to apply Occam’s Razor because usually it’s the most simple explanation. It’s a personal experience and when you hear someone claiming certain happenings, it’s just anecdotal. I don’t believe just about all videos claiming to have filmed something. That said I’ve also had experience at close hand of what could be described as poltergeist activity with absolutely no logical explanation whatsoever. Its always been the end result of something been thrown and landing somewhere. And it’s happened on numerous occasions . However when you try to observe the actual act of the throwing of an inanimate object using a camera …you get nothing . It’s almost as if by observing, you’re breaking the wave function of what’s happening. It’s very much like the double slit experiment.

As you know I'm fairly new to your channel. Watching this video was brilliant. I watch the likes of slapped ham, chills and nuke. But recently I've been just like you are, like nah this is faked. I used to believe all the videos I watched then my favourite KZbinr at the time admitted he faked his content and I was like wtf? Why would you do that. Now whenever I watch clips I'm there debunking them myself. I am a skeptic but I also believe there is something else among us, whether that be ghostly or of alien origin, I just don't know. after rewatching. The closest isn't where I thought it was, and it's a regular curtain. I know in Magic black string is used to reduce the chance of reflection when you use fishing line. But I don't know what they use here. The door doesn't close fluidly enough to be a draft as I suspected. So. You are probably right.
