New subscriber. Love the tips. I travel a lot for work and my TRX is a must every time I hit the road. Great to have such an effective recourse to use to check technique, etc.

Thanks Adam. From this video I realise that I haven’t been putting my feet close enough together for the narrow squat, so this video has been very helpful. Love the muscle builder programme!

Use to have trouble squatting with Trx because I tended to not be light on my grip and was using alot of back making it more of squat with a row really taking resistance off quads.

It’s a common occurrence but great that you identified it. All of us never stop learning and practicing technique mastery. Never give up!

Hi Adam! I love your content. Have you ever considered writting an illustrated book/guide to build muscle with TRX? I've been reading different books about training and they have been a great guide for my home workouts. A couple of examples would be "You are your own gym" by Mark Lauren and "Bodyweight strenght training anatomy" by Bret Contreras. Those books offer pictures and illustrations on how to perform the excercises with progressions and regressions. Also they offer chapters on how to craft your own workout plan. I think You should check them out and get inspired on writting the ultimate guide to build muscle with TRX. I would definitely buy it.

Sorry for a different topic, I'm trying to really strengthen my lats and rear delts, what would be your number 1 exercise on the trx to improve these, as I'm trying to get better at pull ups so something that will help me with that kind regards mat
@fitnessfreedomathletes3 жыл бұрын
Fav for lats = TRX Reverse grip row Fav for rear delts = TRX Face pulls Ultimately though the best way is just to get on the pull up bar. If you struggle to actually pull up. Then focus on jumping up and lowering yourself slowly from 6-10 seconds. Do this for your working sets. Eventually, you will begin to notice strength gans for the actual pull up part (concentric)

@@fitnessfreedomathletes yes Santa actually got me a pull up bar lol , and I thought oh yeah I can do 10 plus pull ups quickly to discover I could only do 3 with good form, the rest I looked like a wet noodle 🍜

TRX Traveler, can you perform squats with a weighted backpack/bag?
@fitnessfreedomathletes Жыл бұрын
Absolutely, I'd recommend mastering bodyweight, seeing the results and progressing by adding a weighted vest or backpack
@charlesrodriguez6455 Жыл бұрын
Adam, how many reps/sets?
@fitnessfreedomathletes Жыл бұрын
It would depend on your fitness level and programming goal but as general rule of thumb 2-3 sets of 8-10 reps is good to follow.
