Hi my wife just got a TRX. I found your channel and am really excited to try your workouts (although I am a beginner so it will be a slow start.) I did a workout using exercises from your videos for back and biceps today. Was planning to do legs tomorrow or the next day. When you say that you should push your feet outwards against the floor, could you explain this a little more? Are you saying that my right foot should be pushing right and my left foot should be pushing to the left?

That's awesome, you'll never look back on a TRX journey. Fitness freedom for life! That's correct push both feet outwards. To be honest though, this is for advanced TRX muscle centric training. I would look to master the basic foundational skills first and build a solid foundational strength and mind-muscle connection before leaping to advanced forms of training. Always best to progress steadily and keep giving the body steps to advance on to for the most effective progression. Wish he’d explain what “push out” means. Should knees bow out to either side? Should feet be wanting to rotate outward with the legs?

Nope, just one focus = constantly push your feet outwards against the floor up and down with legs and feet forward and aligned. Slightly rotate feet outwards if it's more comfortable.
