We have a 2006 Lance 815 that we want to redecorate. It has been fun watching everything you've done to yours. After seeing your changes I am mostly looking forward to removing the window valances. Nice work!

Did you recover the dinette seat cushions? Did you sew them or buy them!
@LarryBlanchard-u8e Жыл бұрын
When you loaded camper onto the truck, you slid the board it was sitting on into the truck first. Why? And just how thick is it? Previously, I had a Lance 855s and I added a 5/8 piece of exterior plywood to the underside so it raised it up enough to just open my tailgate and leave it on.
@LivingLargeCamping Жыл бұрын
Our camper is a 2004, and the older trucks had shallower truck bed sides. So we had to lift the camper 1.5” to clear the newer truck rails

Wow looks great.. I'm curious about your mattress ..... is it a residential queen about 12 inches thick? I did that in my Lance too when I replaced the 6 inch camper queen. You don't realize how much you miss the extra 6 inches of headroom in the cabover....also it's an extra 6 inches to climb up onto it.... I'm changing mine back to a 6 inch ...the 12 in memory foam mattress also added some extra weight which I really didn't need.... Good luck and happy travels. Maybe we will meet on the road one day...
@LivingLargeCamping2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! And ours is closer to 6-8” thick. I considered changing the mattress but did not want to run into that as our head space is already limited!
