The persecution of ethnic Russians also occurs in the Baltic states even after these countries joined the EU. Russia has lots of oil and gas, the Russians were the world # 1 at producing and exporting crude oil up till the troubles in Ukraine. Even with all the current sanctions Russia has only dropped to #2. Even with DJT in the Oval Office, the collective West will be negotiating from a weakened position as Russia will be in a strong position because they will have achieved most of their objectives on the ground. Whatever peace process will have to be on the Russian terms. If DJT thinks by threatening Putin that the US will pump more weapons into Ukraine to gain the upper hand he is very much mistaken. Re. Israel, Hamas & Hezbollah, I don't understand why Sunni Muslims (Hamas) and Hezbollah (Shi'as) would co-operate because historically they hate each other ? It seems they are only united in driving the Jews back into the sea .... If the West pulls out support for Israel there will be a repeat of persecution of the Jews as in WW2. Hamas needs to return the remaining hostages so a state of non-war can begin.
