As a Brazilian I can say that during the summer 98% of the beaches in Brazil have this vivacity, is hard to find an empty one for those who like less crowded places. Santa Catarina is a great place to live, it has one of the best structures in the country, everything close to the beach is great, but if you want sun and wind almost all year round, I recommend João Pessoa and Natal (Northeast Brazil) are sensational places also. As for Surfing, in the last 7 years Brazil has won 5 world titles (WSL), with 4 different surfers, which shows how good we are currently at Surfing.

Great seeing you enjoying Garopaba. If you move there, you may have to find a place to stay during the months of January and February, and December during Christmas holidays. The town gets too packed with tourists and traffic becomes unbearable. The town is beautiful but it does not have infrastructure to receive too many tourists. And that goes to all the really great beaches in Santa Catarina, including Florianópolis. Maybe during summer months you spend in the mountains or travelling somewhere else. Just a thought for the future.

Another wonderful moment...nothing better than being in this wonderful place around the sea...I love it, kkk...grew up in these many wonderful places your are showing ...there are so many beaches...it is just so nice enjoying the always full of good things to do🎉❤....and adding an info...most of the many beaches have their names in the Indian languages...there are many Indian names. And yes assai...made from fruit from up north Amazon area....used for the cream or in meat meal...I do love the mix with any fruit, nuts, oatmeal and plus...mixing in as you wish...you don’t feel hungry for a long time ...healthy for sure 😋😋 and also everybody loving your very nice personality too, makes it all even better 🤗🥰

Açaí is indeed from the Amazon - its natural flavor is bitter, so the smoothies that people consume in the southern regions have a lot of sugar added to make it edible. It is a good antioxidant 🙂

I just heard on NPR that there are only 356 Right whales left in the world, so you’re in the “right” place at the right time. They were tracking one up in Nova Scotia in July but the whale watching trip was cancelled due to weather….you’ve got some cute dresses, I assume you bought them down there - the leopard one is great.

Next time you have açaí, add condensed milk (leite condensado) it will be much better. Then you can add whatever you want, but I recommend powdered milk (leite em pó)

Totally unbelievable you discovered AÇAÍ, only at the end of your trip. OMG, there are more excellent deserts in Brazil, Açaí is just one of several others. (yes, it's Açaí berry from the Amazon forest.)
