Our dog was diagnosed with a heart murmur a couple of years ago. Then her "heartstrings" broke at end of February last year. Spent a week in the ICU (thank goodness for pet insurance), but has miraculously recovered and while 3x a day meds aren't fun, she's fully back to all activities and doing well. We have great respect and many thanks for the skill of her cardiologist and a positive outlook for a normal life.

I realize that by now you have probably arrived in Europe. I hope you will get a chance to visit the lake region in the north of Italy especially the Piemonte region were the Po river and it many tributaries create the beautiful Po valley. This is were my wife was borned and raised, loving the outings to the many lakes that are part of the crown of northern Italy on the slopes of the majestic Alps. In the south, mainly in Rio Grande do Sul, we have a preference for raising European cattle, (Bos Tauros Tauros) for climatic and cultural reasons, in the north there is a preference for Asian Zebu cattle (Bos taurus indicus), they are more suitable for hot climates . The breeding method also differs, in the north they largely use confined farming, feeding with feed, in the south the cattle are raised freely on native pastures of the "pampa" biome.

The kitties were staying close to you, even though they have a big apartment. Kitties fortunately do seem to have a short memory, or they are just extremely forgiving and intuitive about our loving intentions, even if we take them to the vet or give them medicine (don’t ask how I know…) Curt and the cows.😂 Road detour was another little adventure with kind people.
