@@taymasamples correct, in music theory the last note (Bb) to first note (Eb) is a V-I cadence (very very common occurence), but also i think this way both references the motif from AWSF, while still keeping it unresolved, kinda like the narrative loop of the album

igor is already a loop, both musically and story wise. The final note of AWSF is unfinished without the beginning note of igor’s theme. The story of Igor is also about a Guy who falls in love with a his friend, a guy, who loves a girl, and about halfway through the album he begins to resent what used to be his friend. By the end he is basically begging to be friends with him again and so it starts the whole cycle over. It’s all really clever.

yeah i knew all this before i made it, and i can appreciate what tylers done, i just thought itd be cool to use that motif from AWSF and keep it unresolved (literally and metaphorically) to basically highlight the idea in the narrative more
