The question that should be asked, is why a concert that had been planned a year in advance, was moved at the last minute to just outside of the Gaza/Israel border; that same section of the border that Netanyahu and his government had been warned (by Egypt, Qatar, and the United States, among others) would be under threat of attack almost a year prior (around the same time as the planning of the concert had taken place). Bibi knew what was coming and threw his people into the grinder to excuse the Holocaust he and the people around him are enacting on the Palestinians, because they knew if they were attacked first it would garner international support and give them the excuse to take Gaza and the West Bank.

If you believe that is true for Israel, then you have to believe it's true for Palestinians also. Well done James for taking the intelligent view on this, one where you weigh up both sides' feelings, I have zero hatred toward the Jewish people, however this "revenge" bombardment has gone too far and it's nice to see recognition of that.

We used to have a family of Jehova Witnesses that used to knock on our door. I am an atheist but politely listened to their twaddle and took their leaflets (binned as soon as I closed the door). This all changed one day when they came to my door and their son aged about 8 started quoting the Jehova beiliefs from memory as his parents stood their looking on proudly. I was furious and told his parents they should be reported and their children removed from them for their brainwashing. I never got another copy of watchtower after that. I never reported them as I realised almost every child from all religions went through the same brain washing.

But can you apply that to Israelis without be labelled antisemitic? That’s the problem, every religion has been mocked regardless of the reaction. But we’re silenced towards that one country. Whatever your opinion about religion, until we can be critical of ‘that country’ without being labelled stigmatised cautioned charged, only then we can move on otherwise we’re hypocrites.

a very vivid picture i heard someone paint was, we all have schools close to us, a school has say 300-500 children, now imagine how many school's worth of children have been slaughtered in this brutality already, about 20 schools have been wiped clean ......

Is the UN special rapporteur, Francesca Albanese, not someone to be taken seriously? Big fan James, but there is a serious case to be made on the question of Israel's right to self defense as it pertains to threats emanating from within a territory it occupies.
