The removal of the barrier to entry that is the requirement for proper qualifications (not solely referring to certifications or career records). The parliamentarians are not 'dumb', they are eloquent and would excel in a cutthroat low-trust corporate environment. These people just do not fit the expectations of a public civil servant. We didn't haggle, but one [large] organisation flat out offered to undercut anyone else's offer. So we went with the other organisation because I did not like the idea of helping the big organisation drive smaller ones out of business.

The legal system theoretically treats all people equally (i.e. is implicitly based on egalitarianism) and is supposedly an apolitical and just system which has been carefully put together over hundreds of years by some of the smartest minds (presumably, but importantly, like science, is a dynamic, changing field of expertise which almost certainly becomes fairer and more progressive over time). So could we universally establish that any political ideology, which in any way suggests that some people are more worthy or superior than others, is objectively morally wrong from the outset? This argumentation could then perhaps be a way to rationally deduce the correct policies in general.
