hi, I have been watching your videos, now some of the book club vids, shopping for your books, AND I have learned from you that I did have some parts of my life wrong, when I thought I was VERY together and perceptive, I have had some new major perceptions about life, society, and my own past. Thank you!

So true about culture shock and so beneficial because it allows to see better and find words for what is not beneficial for us. That is the reason people still ask: what nationality is X. Because we want to understand the culture of the person. And YES, people are the problem in any transformation and going forward. They dare to say what’s best for us like they were in our own body, mind, self. How crazy is that??? Species of narcissists And of course we are perceived as being boring bcz we don’t like drama, trauma and don’t need to be entertained by others, and don’t need noise around us.

Big oof. My mom used to say each sibling's needs were different and fair isn't a reality that was possible; I think she meant equal, but she never attempted to make things fair nor equal. She pretends she does not have any power to influence the way the siblings interact with each other, but meanwhile she gossips between them, as if she is one of the group, and not the parent of the group.
