Dr Shefali, the settings boundaries and saying no part was an eye opener. You set boundaries for yourself n say no to yourself and not to others. Brilliant! It makes it so much easier. Love your sense of humor. Also about the mother wound and father wound, so true.

I totally agree with you about gaslighting. It has become so common to use it and therefore so confusing. The idea your offer instead is much clearer. Your take on ”No” is so wise. Never thought it that way. Thank you!

In my understanding any relationship issues are related to mother issues, meaning narcissistic mothers. That’s the true pandemic because the majority of relationships are unhealthy. I personally don’t know any relationship that is healthy and happy.

T y 💚🌈🐶🕊️😊🐳🐢🐥🦜 in my experience about 16 months into daily examination of hidden beliefs, thought patterns of the confused inner child, & allowing all emotions to come up into Awareness for release, a key insight is that yes it can be uncomfortable some days in a private healing environment at home feeling the dormant emotions coming up, but not really THAT uncomfortable to where it ever felt like this is too much, not even close. What DID feel painfully overwhelming though was remaining unhealed and staying in codependent painful relationships. So if you're thinking about starting doing the real inner work, in my experience it was WAY less painful while actually just getting down to doing the daily work, than it was to keep hanging with the egos thought system, which doesn't care about you, and is overwhelming emotional hell itself. A second point, an eventually genuinely humorous one, is that we think for yeas and years if we're with someone, that were actually relating to them. There's only one "small" problem: neither of us has any idea who we are. 💚😊 In other words, all those years we both were really just relating/reacting to our THOUGHTS about our CONCEPTS of who we thought we were. Another way to say it is we think we are WORDS. It really is quite hunorous, but not for a while into the healing. And also, I wish somebody had said to me: it's helpful going into the work if you're willing to consider that you most likely have no idea what Love actually is, and that at the right time in your journey this will eventually be shown to you. It's probably pretty rare. As one example Forrest Gump seemed to get it. But the ego thought system can't know. It's actually kind of designed by us not to be able to. So, just get a new thought system, one based on overlooking seeming imperfection in behavior, based instead on acceptance, kindness, etc Beautiful 💚🐶🌈😊🕊️🐢🐳🐥
