Thank you for your advice 🙂 listening to you "grounds" me, and helps me to reflect. I avoided many relationships because of past traumas and abandonment issues and generally keep to myself. I had no problems with that before, until later on i started to talk to men I was interested in and realized I have a hard time with communication and explaining myself in terms that doesn't rub him the wrong way, but trying to work on that.

Lots of black & white thinking with my new hubs... it seems that I 'always' do this or that. It's exhausting as you say. I make asimple request for him to ASK me how I am doing and to NOTICE when it seems something is off. As many men he has an inborn need to only problem solve and think I'm constantly in a pity party of one. Last night I told him it seems he's more entertained with a conversation with his sister than with me and I'd really like it if he would have actual conversation/dialogue with me but all I get was "How was your day?" I feel like a roommate not a wife.

Ohh I hear the frustration but I would start with the “how’s your day?” It’s a gateway to safety for men who have been micromanaged and scolded (by frustrated high achieving women.) Do not blame yourself! We have high standards and few men could ever keep up. ❤ Go deeper with “how was your day” in “500 Ways,” ebook and 2 day video classes. bit.ly/500waysbook

@AdrienneEverheart thank you. I have 500 ways and some of the other programs. I do use feeling statements. He just doesn't like talking everyday and I do. But last night after my request coupled with feeling statements he did put out some decent effort at having actual dialogue. I told him how much I noticed how he showed up last night. Hoping and praying he can be consistent with it now as I've been let down many times before..

If you are late all the time, not respecting his time and effort, missing out on events to go to together because if that - that man is not problematic to be fed up with that. He should find a decent woman who owns her mistakes and changes her behaviour, instead of this calling him problematic.

Oh Adrienne, I’m yet to watch this in full, but I love your love videos.. 🩷 I always attracted unavailable men, mostly emotionally. I realised it was because my mother was emotionally unavailable. I’m healing from that trauma. I love love love your videos on how to heal from childhood abandonment issues and how to be in your feminine goddess energy…
