When they say "what do you want me say ?" thats a very telling Revelation 👀 What they are REALLY saying is I am who I am and I'm not attuned to you. They march to their own drum and refuse to harmonize with you. They live life on their OWN terms but you're welcome to "play" with them. They see you as a "groupie".

Never date a man who is divorced but was married for 25 yrs. They are not looking for marriage again and are only looking for companionship at best. I was with a man who was divorced for 2 yrs and even saw a therapist/counselor post divorce yet he was not over his ex wife. He told me many things about his divorce and how it made him feel. In hindsight, he was not being vulnerable with me, he was emotionally dumping on me and was blatantly telling me how hurt he was. Huge red flag! Losing someone who he’s been with for over 20 yrs is the equivalent of losing your right arm. They will only use you to fill the void and there’s no way anyone can compete with that. Best break it off before you invest in a losing battle.

@@AdrienneEverheart one could say “insecure” but i’d just say wounded for a deeper take on this. As someone who was constantly emotionally invalidated by a narcissistic mother and never reassured. It forces me in adulthood to crave validation from females. Healing is experiencing the opposite. This is only a problem when it’s happening subconsciously. Luckily I have a lot of self-awareness due to doing a lot of healing work

Is a man that has been unemployed for the last year, emotionally broken? I say he is irresponsible. Has dreams but no set goals or ambition. He somehow is able to sustain himself. Lol. Has land assets but is unemployed.

Great question. He’s living off investments and comfortable in his terms. Once a man is comfortable he’s likely to stay there unless ambition comes along and inspires him (such as you walking away.) Ask yourself if his situation (lifestyle) is compatible with yours? Are you left picking up the bills but you live on his property for free? Does he take you out on dates?
