Only two chanels ? Oh my, how you suffered, We had VHF channels 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13 and UHF channels 41, 47, 68 and later I was able to receive 2 scrambled broadcasts HBO and WHT movie networks. We used channel 3 for games and VCRs.. Analog television 📺 Long before digital Television 📺 ♥️

I love this show because I would hear my dad watching it every night on pbs. He wouldn't let me watch it because it dirty. But when it started coming on on the Saturday night British comedy line up he started letting me watch it. When they done something like the vacuum bit he would pull a face atme but it always turned into a snicker. I think I enjoyed his laughing the most.

I recognize the customer with glasses from another episode. He was an accountant, trying to fit his wife up for a company ball. The domestic fight that erupts with Mrs. Slocombe right in the middle was unforgettable. The wife ended up saying, "it's that woman, isn't it? The secretary on the comptrometer!" She was Mrs Fox who married Corporal Jones in Dad's Army.. Ms Brahms guested in that as did Mr Grace. Rene guested in this twice. Allo Allo was another great series by the writers.

I used to watch this with my grandpop many years ago. It came up on my feed and that intro song was do cool. Cash register "percussion" strings and "going up!"

i love the episode especially when Mr Nash's sexual banter, interactions with the cleaning ladies!! Mr. Nash introduction to the cleaning ladies, regarding Mr. Lucas, "Robert Redford of the ready mades. That is why u almost never see him, he is always 5 minutes late! lmfao!!!

I always preferred the character of Mr. Mash over Mr. Harmon. Mash was funnier, could push Peacock's button's with less effort, and was easier to understand.

Though both were amusing.....I too prefer Mr Mash to Mr Harmon. I agree that Mr Mash was funnier !

@@nichloa23 I agree - TOO forced or pushy for the group and I too liked Mr Harmon more. Mr Lucus was slightly stronger than the rest of the original cast but he was hired to be the star since he was the only one with a "name". (documented) They all became stars IMO although we have our favorites. I liked some of the secretaries too.
