i love the more laid back approach to everything. just taking a second to enjoy whatever you’re doing and simply enjoy it. one thing at a time there’s no rush. this mentality is what keeps me playing minecraft.

Ive been playing in the same survival world for years while hardly building anything new yet i still keep coming back to it because it has a story and purpose to it. Heck, even the wandering trader has purpose in there. I pretend that he's the same dude who travels around the world collecting rare items. Then he somehow always finds me again.

Great advice, normally when I play minecraft I get straight to the dragon fight and beat it in a couple days, but now I have started a slower world, and this is the reason why, it’s never fun to grind; as a wise man told me, reject the grind, embrace fun. Sending lots of love to this wonderful series ❤.

These tips put a smile on my face! It gives me inspiration for the idea of making a group world, and I can’t wait to try it out! For those of us who want to do a group game (find my comment in the previous video), I was thinking about subscribing to a realm for ten players on Java, as well as a discord server for nine of us - not including me. With a discord server, we can discuss schedules or how long/often we could play…and share inspirational ideas or tidbits. And if I do a realm, it’ll cost money for me. But I’d rather have that then constantly maintain a server that might not function as intended. Plus, with a realm, you can play on it whenever you feel!

Hey soupsoup, these are some great tips! Especially when there's plenty of fast paced minecraft content out there. Here are some additional tips that I implement in my worlds: 1. Keep the gameplay sessions short, this helps out with a burnout. 2. YOU are the one who plays the game so don't constrain yourself to just vanilla minecraft, adding some mods could be way more fun than you could have thought. 3. Lastly! Keep a to do list book in game, note down the things you'd like to do in the next gameplay session. This way, you will have something to complete when you log back in. Also, keep in mind that minecraft is still minecraft, it's just the nostalgic feeling can never be felt again. So, ignore all the guys out there saying minecraft has changed and stuff, having a positive mindset really helps!

Something that I think is also a fun Idea, is to make like a goal-board on which you write down things you want to achieve or find at some point and if you finish one, you mark it as complete with green dye. I know a lot of people like the randomness in Minecraft, but I personally think its nice to have something to work for when you don't know what to do and you still don't have to rush it. And these goals don't have to be big. I always take it simpler, like getting all wood types, or searching for and discovering a biome, or just building something specific.

"It's just a video game" that really got through to me. I overthink a lot of things, and by pulling back once in a while and just seeing things for how they are in a simple way can improve my enjoyment of life in general. I haven't thought about doing that for minecraft though lol. Thanks for this video!

Really good video. I have a gaming channel myself and when running a business fulltime, you have to take it slow - because I dont have much time. I really like the idea of finding inspiration from Lego, if I end up doing a hangar bay, I might try and put a ship there in the classic space colours, as my favourite set is that galaxy explorer from a few years ago. Thinking about it, I actually used to do that, I don’t know why I stopped. I had a few creative worlds where I just built stuff from hero factory.

Another tip I'd suggest is playing minecraft the way you like. Minecraft is truly an infinite game and you can shape it around the way you like. For example, I've been playing minecraft for a long time, and survival doesn't cut it anymore for me, so I put my passions about history and geopolitics etc. Into one server I play with 10 irl friends and I value that server a lot. (It's a nations server by the way)

Hey, soup soup I have been watching your Minecraft series since day one and always love them. I have had this issue since 2020 when my best friend who is quite a nice guy would be slightly rude in Minecraft. He would always criticize my work and when he would make something of his own which I thought looked bad he would say that I don't understand building. Since that day my standards have also gone high and now I never enjoy my work except for a rare few occasions. He has embedded a seed in my head and I don't seem to like my building anymore. and when I try to make a survival world like yours it's like I never feel like playing because after I get all the stone tools and etc. I hop on a creative world and try to make my house but then it doesn't end up looking like how I want it to be which makes me frustrated and then I end up quitting the game and coming back 1 month later. Can you try to make sort of a building tutorial cause I love the style of your building, Sorry for making this an essay.

I am doing a "Scuba Diver" playtrough 🤿🤿 and I built a small temporary storage next to my Kelp Plantation. 2) find inspiration ❤ - My recent inspiration is Hermitcraft. I have actually set up some market stalls based of off what Each Hermit has a Permit for (For Example, Xisumavoid has permit for Gray wool, so he "sells" gray wool in my world !!!) 3) Slow down ❤ - The more I play on the same world, the more stable the Lore is 😮
