Holy crap! I have never related to a podcast more. I have grown up on The Shore, every summer since I was 2, and I’m 38 now. Family is all in Scranton and Philly so The Shore is our place. Sea Side Heights, OC, Egg Harbor, all those seaside towns. It’s trashy, but damnit am I proud of it! My kids love it now too, just a giant garbage family having the times of our lives!

Beer boiled hot dogs to plump and then flat top brown with butter. Toast the Bun with mayo on the flat top too. Yes mayo. Most grilled cheese in restaurants isn't butter but mayo on the bread. Richer flavor and browns evenly. Also Wides became the go to burnie when they were buy 1 get 2 packs free during the tattoo pack days in the early 00s

Shoutout to Avalon and stone harbor... I'm from Detroit but my buddy's parents inherited a beach house in Avalon. Beautiful town. All rich people. My wife and I fit in perfect in our 2017 ford escape. Shoutout wildwood too. That's where the real fun starts. We went last summer, got hit by a huge sandstorm on the boardwalk. Goin again this year

Worked on the introduction of Marlboro Mediums back in 91. We had tons of cartons around the office. All my Marlboro Lights friends & fam said they tasted stale. I quit before color coding came in. I did have a brother & uncle who smoked both menthol & regular at the same time. Switched off especially around cold season. Marlboro Reds & Newports 😂
