Mixed messages suck, yes. I was just complimented by a random guy on Bumble for my assertiveness. He said a lot of women lack that. So there you go, girls. Ari, Thank you. I truly appreciate what you have written. I’m an only child who grew up in the countryside. Dogs and horses were my friends. I had lots of time to think as I was always alone. And in that I always observed people and analyze their interactions, in part, because I didn’t understand their responses. I came up with different responses. It depends. Mixed messages are not a good sign because it means the person you are with is either unclear, unmotivated, or playing. Generally speaking you should go in another direction however, in cases where the individual is exceedingly forthright and honest about their fear and state their intention to overcome it as they grow closer to you… Then you have a possibility

I feel that I am evolved in certain aspects of what I want. But still think that I don't have high self esteem. Firstly, you cannot be friends. That would be torture for him and uncomfortable for you. Perhaps in time when he no longer adores you and wants you as his wife.This is a super tough discussion. It has to be done with warmth and kindness while also being clear and firm. Speak to him honestly and from your heart. Tell him that because of the deep affection you have for him and have had in the past, you cannot in good conscience move forward with marriage knowing that it no longer feels right for you. That would create greater harm in the long run

I’ve been dating a woman for two months now we are going slow and are having a great time , we even are going on road trips together. It’s like this was meant to be. I was saying goodbye the other night from hanging out for a weekend , all the sudden she says “ I love you “ I said it right back without a pause, less than 10 minutes later I got a text that said I love you but as a friend even though we are dating .
