It seems the person who had the scrapped lore transcript of Dream talking about on twitter has privated their account. So summed up paraphrased explanation: Punz left a note for Dream of Quackity's location, he went there, saw a replica of the prison cell, got knocked out and captured by Quackity who wants to kill him, manipulated Sam into letting him go, escaped, and bumped into Wilbur. That's it, I don't have any other details of anything :P

2:43, this is one of the many reasons why C!Dream is my absolute favorite. He can act and manipulate his way out of literal death, I’m also convinced in the actual lore of the SMP, if he dies then the book dies with him. Also, I’m just about sure that C!Dream would write his own name in the revive book in his last moments, because he’s a literal genius.

I love this!! Even though Dream is a psychotic villain, the way you portrayed him (the puppy eyes!!!) actually makes me feel sympathetic for him. Sam’s expressions show the conflicting emotions he’s having as well, that he still has some sort of attachment to Dream. Amazing work as always!! :D

Ooh I love how you used the voice lines to make it sound like that what the characters were saying. It's sad because Dream has Sam wrapped around his finger, even in the scrapped lore ideas. Even though Dream has done all of these horrible things to Sam he still lets him go because he doesn't want to be seen as the "bad guy" anymore. Dream is so manipulative, and I love it, and I hate it, its weird how his puppy dog eyes made him even more sinister in my eyes. Nice little detail when Dream shouted "Sam!" It showed flashbacks of when he killed Tommy. It shows that Sam is showing mercy because he doesn't want to be reminded of that incident. I have a feeling thar if this was canon Quackity would be royally pissed at Sam, because he actually let him get away. Also the derpy little faces that you gave to Wilbur and Dream at the end made me laugh. Great job as always!

But I don’t understand why Sam let him out, well I guess yeah I do, he manipulated Sam so much that Sam felt the need to prove himself to Dream he could be a good person, even though he already sometimes is… it’s sad because Dream begged Sam “please let me go” Sam said the exact same thing to Dream and Dream MURDERED him before he actually let him leave… the things manipulation can do to people is horrible… Oh and this animatic was incredible, as usual ✨

It's a bit new, so it took me a minute to get used to BUT my final verdict is that it's very cool and i want more of that type of audio, it really adds to the experience, also THE LOW SAM GRUMBLES WERE SO GOOD!! I always love those type of sounds, the low dinosaur/dragon/lipn etc like growls are always the best, it rlly reverberates in your ears Love your work!

This is what makes dreams character so dangerous and interesting. He’s manipulative to the point that someone he basically tortured and murdered let’s him go when they’ve got him trapped and awaiting what’s essentially an execution. this animatic completely changed the way I look at Dream He's human, yes, and he fears death just like any other mortal. However, he's still a manipulative sunovab|tch who does NOT hold back. The way you draw him exemplifies both, because you VERY clearly show his manipulation as such, but at the same time (as another commenter said) you actually draw him showing fear. It's a lot easier to believe someone who says they don't want to die when they look like they're afraid for their life.

Dude! that was awesome! (hehe awesamdude). Tip(maybe if you wanted) if you added quiet intense background music it could have made it a bit more immersive and when the potion hit dream it could have been a mini jumpscare lol

I did add music in the background, but when I TELL YOU that I found the perfect intense action music, and I thought it wasn't copyrighted but then KZbin smacked me with a copyright claim- I was so mad anyway, I did do that, but then KZbin slapped me, so I had to fix it the audio in this video has been redone a few times lmao

Absolutely love Dream's expression at 2:03. He doesn't regret scarring Sam at all, but at that moment, he realises that his actions put him in a risky situation, and he has to manipulate his way out. It wasn't too hard, but Sam did a good job hesitating, he gave Dream quite the scare lol Also want to mention how Sam shows his scar after Dream says: "Just let me go", 'cause that's *exactly* what Sam begged him to do back at the prison, and Dream refused, so here they are, Sam showing his scar as a way of saying: "Why should I after you did this to me?". I love this little scene so much. ALSO, Dream's puppy eyes and Sam's growls? That's amazing :)
