Dream DID dropped hints that he despised his confinement and the torture he had to endure so him killing him at the end of the video was not a surprise. But the delivery was very good there

im not even all the way through and jesus this is giving me chills, the way you drew sam when dream gave him food, and dream is using the same technique he used with tommy, isolation and reinforcement, both negative and positive, and you showing the parallels, chefs kiss. i love the facial expressions, the posing, the book sam is writing being a way to reaffirm his thoughts so dream cant manipulate them (its failing but hes trying his best), the way dream is using the same tactics he did on tommy, except this time, sam has no one, no one to interact with, no one to run to, no one with him, the only reason tommy didnt fully fall for dreams manipulation was because of people visiting him, Ghostbur being with him, he ran to techno, sam has no support, nobody other than dream so he is even more vulnerable, just ahhhhhhhh

You can tell Dream planned the whole thing from start to finish. He finds Sam is in there, does some initial probing, comes back to get into his mind, then after Sam lies, he purposely leaves him for longer so Sam suffers more, then he comes back with sweet things and acts nice so Sam lowers his defenses, then he makes the offer for letting Sam out. It's like textbook manipulation tactics, he associated himself with good things, angering him with bad things, and also completely controlled every conversation.

Omg I love the threads that go from Dream to Sam, like Dream is slowly manipulating Sam, he is getting a new toy. and then Dream'as comment "I have not tortured any- I meant mental torture, potentially" , "potentially" more like absolutely. Every now and then you hear Dream's laugh and its chilling, but sooo good!!! I love the animations, it is easy to follow and the fact that both of them have neon green eyes and that their eyes is one of the few things with color, it gives it a more focused look, like your eyes kind of focus on anything that is lime green. It is so cool!!!

It’s so heartbreaking but fascinating how easily Dream was able to break Sam’s psyche within a few days. I know Dream is great at this and already had stuff to work with because of being imprisoned for a year and taunting the warden. But still, Sam who was so head strong and honestly powerful was just broken down into the equivalent of a dog scratching at the door waiting for its owner. And it’s even made more clear in your animatic because Dream is petite and stout compared to Sam but can make the tall guy bend over backwards for him

I absolutely love the way you draw the characters. The way you draw their cannon Height And just the expressions is amazing. The green strings that appear when dreams manipulating the way the memories flash behind Sam on day 2 Just the overall details is amazing. 👏 best animation I've ever seen great work for makeing a 30 minute animation. That's more than most animators.
