Hi, your Discord invite doesn't work. It says that the time of the link expired. I would like to join the server, but I can't.

Very cool resources that I will definitely implement as I push towards Diamond. Question, were you previously involved with fitgmr?

@@coachboc Yes, it strange even the new link doesn't work, but I tried to join through incognito tab and everything worked fine and I was able to join the server. The problem is definitely with me, but why and where. Anyway, thank you for checking with someone else, because of that I could figure out the solution.

when i saw the spreadsheet on your previous coaching vid, i decided to implement it myself on notion!! i play bot so my spreadsheet is divided like this: 1st column: my bot champ + supp 2nd column: enemy matchup (bot + supp) 3rd column: result (victory or loss) 4th column: what i did well 5th column: what i can improve 6th column: CS per minute in the 4th and 5th columns i usually focus more what i did during laning phase since every game has a laning phase, which is why to me it's really crucial that i get it perfect. the 6th column i used cs per minute as a metric since i think econ is the most important thing for ADCs. notion is just my preference since the champions/results can be tagged, so i can filter the champs easily and see where i struggled in specific matchups, e.g.: if i'm playing vs. a thresh, i can filter by enemy matchup: 'thresh', result: 'loss', and see that for previous games where i lost against him, i didn't dodge his hooks well enough, so i can keep it in mind for the upcoming game. it's been a massive help for me, hopefully in a few weeks i can report back on how much i've improved/climbed using this!

Yeah! Notion is great, I don't have TOO much experience with it personally (I use a software called "Airtable" for my work that does almost the same thing though!). But this sounds like an excellent framework for your improvement tracking! Please let me know how it goes 👀

Damn.. I was passively playing all this time depending on my muscle memory and not actively playing. Thank you for the insight

Glad to hear it! A lot of players report success when they switch from large amounts of games played with minimal focus to small amounts of games played with full focus/intent. But step 1 is always that intention! So goodluck on your climb

Those are some big goals! I'm not going to tell you anything is impossible, but if you start tracking and making progress NOW, "one day" becomes more of a possibility!

Very cool to see coaches create ressources for learning how to improve! I have a question about the spreadsheet. I remember that Day[9] also provided a spreadsheet to learn and improve on Starcraft (kzbin.info/www/bejne/n2S6dKKLlNGclcUsi=NHWeFoMg2VpMSSN3&t=813 if you want to take a peak). When you only have a "notes" section, describing what happened during the game, he also has a section about a specific short term goal, and a table with 3 columns: what bad things happened, why they happened, what adjustment could I make. In his video, he talks extensively about how to fill that spreadsheets, and general guidelines and cavehats when analyzing a game (for instance, do not make drastic changes). I find it surprising that your spreadsheet does not contain a way to keep track of goals and their achievement (you have the habit tracker, but it's not presented to track goals related to the game), neither does it contain anything to analyse what happened during the game. Is there a particular reason as to why?
@coachboc2 ай бұрын
Oh wow! Yeah, his video is awesome. I think this is great way for more experienced players to get some nuance in their improvement. As far as for your question at the end here, I think this is very valid to ask. My goal here is to make improvement SUPER accessible for everyone. There is a LOT of content on youtube aimed at players who are serious about improving, but 99% of people who want to get better have never tracked anything about their gameplay before, so I wanted to keep my resource as simple and approachable as possible.. even at the expense of some extra categories that would make it more useful! So I completely agree, and maybe there is a "V2.0" of my video in the future that gives some more in-depth resources for those interested 👀 Either way, thank you for your support and your question!

@@coachboc Day9 got so much resources for so much stuff, and the videos are still genually enjoyable even after 10+ years it's crazy. Very reasonable answer, thanks! :)

@@seowlfh3731 I think it's great evergreen content. There is a player from CSGO (not sure how familiar you are) called "N0thing". And even though I don't play the game anymore, I still go back and watch some of his videos about consistency and improvement that are 10+ years old because they are still relevant to this day.

@@coachboc I'm not familiar with him, thanks for the reco! Just watched a few QFTS and the rant about consistency. Indeed, it's still very relevant. I'm thinking especially what he said about environment validity (his example was for death match) or prioritizing skills etc. It's also very chill to look at :)
