If you want a piano that has wood on it then I love my Yamaha CP-1. A beautiful instrument.

Did you try playing it with headphones? Are the built-in sounds better that way than through the speakers? If so, does it have a line out?

I'd guess the keypad feel is as important as anything if using it simply as a MIDI trigger for best plugins sounds. Fully weighted keys have to be more comfortable to an acoustic piano player. Otherwise, their sub $200 full sized, semi-weighted keyboard might suffice for available tones and instruments. I was a string (bass and guitar) player, so this isn't my instrument while understanding actual preference to the "feel" of an instrument. Well done video. Thank you.

If you look at the other keyboard im pretty sure this is the fep660 but with legs and the 660 is 250$ instead of 400$+

Thanks I’m always excited to check out new piano products and tech! I can only imagine how difficult it is to create an instrument from scratch. It’s a beautiful looking design and I think with some focus on an improved main piano sound it can be an overall great product!

Disappointing that the built-in sounds are not good, but I have sat at models far more expensive that sounded simply terrible. As far as keybed noise, I have a Yamaha that became really distractingly noisy after a year. That was disappointing.

Yeah it seems to happen with certain keybeds unfortunately. Hard to know which it will happen to!
