When we are in our heads lost in thought, we cannot hear or see what is happening around us. Getting out of our head isn't about living with our head in the clouds. It's about finding peace now so that we can then go forth and build the life of our dreams.
Sometimes, that dream we have may be different than the dream the universe has for us. I will never be an NBA star, but the life I have lived has been far greater because it's been true to myself. We are all co-directors of our lives. The more we put our intentions and efforts into the world, the more the world will show us doorways of opportunity. We just have to learn how to listen and see.
In today's KZbin video, I talk about how spirituality can help us achieve everything we've ever wanted and appreciate everything we have.

I have been listening to you for some time now. It is all right on track and so beautiful. I am a long follower of Eckhart Tolle and I see the same wisdom come thru you. The videos are lovely...but I must say I enjoy listening to just your voice. The printed words on the screen and the scrolling photos are not needed...may even be distracting. Your voice with the Macaque Healing music is a very special combination. I do love watching you, yourself, speak your words. Your face transmits peace, your body language gentle and welcoming...and your smile and laughter make me smile and laugh too. You are a true blessing that needs no embellishment. Wow, I’m at a loss for words of how inspiring this video is. It’s probably the best I’ve ever watched. If the words and ideas are listened to and implemented in a person’s life…that person’s life will NEVER be the same. I just can’t see this. I suppose I think of others who have gone down the drain. As well, the mistakes I made in life are doing me in now at 60. Too much financial worry. Living on the precipice. I hope I can reverse it.

In my life I have found the hardest thing, person, image to love is the reflection I see in the mirror as I try to care for me. Today I can and do say I love you to the woman I see, just as I came into the world and the same as I will leave the my Earth Walk. Mostly thank you for allowing me to see your words and feel that nature, true nature is alive and well in some pocket of this Earth that we all share.

You are so right about the hero chill dude. You make me cry thinking of my mother and fathers virtues and that is and was what they get to take to the grave. However my pore mother on the way out had given up because she didn't want to see where the world was going. I must say this her plight and the fight she put up through my lifetime has become me and in my last moments I will remember this and know that I am the evolution of my families virtues so that I can die proudly for her too on the way out. Mom was a true warrior and she always thought she was just a little girl from Glendale. No mom you were an amazing actress with a heart of pure light that you gave to the world in our families worst moments. In the thickest of things my mother always stood up. Thank you chill dude for the space this morning to reflect. I am drawing tears of love and gratitude this morning.

What a marvelous Thanksgiving meditation! I want to reflect these loving thoughts in my (very) brief prayer before we dive into stuffing and cranberry sauce. What do you think would be a fitting distillation of this divine message? So far, I’m at: “Love both sides of the coin because we ARE the coin.”
