Absolutely LOVE my BB1 Pro!!! Have had it for a few years now and it casts like it did when I first got it. By far, my best Lew’s baitcaster that I own (BB1 and Tournament Pro are the other 2 I own). Thanks for the video, Brother! Always enjoy watching them. 😎😎👍👍

I switched to nothing but Lews reels last year and will never look back! They are better than anything I’ve ever used and I’ve used several brands before. Haven’t tried the BB1 or Pro yet but I’ve been wanting one. Thanks for the great review. Always good information.

Awesome video man. Lews always make a good product. Lots of people love them. Used the lews speed spool back in the day,never had issues. Love trying other reels so ended up selling and trying others. But lews is awesome. Keep the vids coming! 💪🏼💪🏼

I fish Lew's reels as well. I fish all of these models, BB2HZ, SS1H, MR1SH, TS1H, BB1SHZ, SSG1SH, SD1XH, TPG1XH, SSG1S, TS1SH. Eventually over time like anything mechanical you will need service. This is what was really awesome, their customer service! Hands down the best customer service I have ever had. I may pick one of the Pro models up. Never have too many reels. lol

Hell yea Lews all the way! Lately I have been using my Tournament Pro G for throwing some Burritos up to 2.5 ounces! Not even a swimbait reel but it handles lures that r 2.5 OZ no problem whatsoever
@kushcrumbleshatter5 жыл бұрын
I mean I have swimbait reels like the Lews speed cast round reel but I needed something in the moment and that pro G really impressed me how well it handled baits up to 2.5oz

Love my Lews. I really feel that they cast farther than most reals. I’ve had BB1’s since the original with Shimano gears. Glad you love it. The other day I was flinging a 1/4 ounce lipless way out there and this guy was watching and he said how are you casting it so far with no effort. He said is that a Shimano? He had an ABU, I said nope it’s a Lews. He said really? I’m gonna have to check those out.

Yes sir, I'm diggin it! I definitely have to hand it to Lews on this one! 👊💪

Heya TJ, new sub here. Just signed on a couple weeks ago and enjoying your channel. I wanted to let you know I picked up a BB1 Pro about a month ago and imo your review is spot on. The BB1 Pro is another move for me toward replacing my bargain basement gear with mid range gear. I honestly doubted it would be worth it in the beginning but have to stay that making the move and spending the extra money was a great decision for me. To be honest, it has me wondering if, since I've been happy with the move to the mid-range gear if I wouldn't be even more happy stepping my toe into the higher end gear. The problem is that though I can afford it, I don't understand the engineering behind the higher end gear to determine if it is worth the money or simply a marketing ploy that sounds better than it is. Would love to get your opinion on this. Haven't found any videos that really get into what a guy should be looking for in high end equipment and what really adds value.

I’d be curious to know what rod you’re using for throwing light baits. I think for bait casters there are a lot of nice reels but they need to be paired with the right rod to work well. Thanks for your nice video!

What woukd you recommend for a rod foe this reel? I have had this reel sitting in my shop for a year and a half. Haven't used it except for a few times. I tried it out on a rod but didn't like it on that particular rod. Have been looking for a good rod to pair it up with. If you have any suggestions please let me know.. Thanks so much. $200.00 price point and under on the rod..
