Tiny local gym I used to go around to as a kid from around 2007-2010 in Derbyshire was filled with a group of lads in their 20s who had got it into their heads that they needed to take steds and get as huge as possible. It was such a random small gym but this group of around 10 guys were absolutely huge. Theyd be buying and selling in the locker room and I remember hearing one of them talk about how you could feel the chemicals pump through their your bloodstream when you injected it and it gave them a buzz. One in particular was literally the biggest guy I've ever seen in a gym and I've been lifting for around 14 years. He looked so unhealthy even then, swollen red face and hands, hamster cheeks, constantly out of breath. He was also the shyest one and kept himself to himself. Probably suffered from massive self esteem issues. Heard a few years ago he was getting nosebleeds in the gym whilst lifting - and then I heard on the grapevine he literally died in the gym of cardiac arrest last year. No idea how the rest of them are doing, they'll be approaching their 40s now. Not worth it

But anabolic steroids are illegal and classified as a schedule III drug in the USA. And don't bring up the few anabolics that can be prescribed by a doctor. They won't ever prescribe it to a bodybuilder that already has a ton of muscle. Even those mens health clinics that prescribed test for trt. If you come in jacked and on low T levels, they'll only rx you the minimal amount to bring your t up to normal. The other few anabolics used to be prescribed back in the day for patients with muscle wasting and appetite suppressing type diseases like HIV, cancers, etc. Not so much anymore. But the point is, anabolic steroids are schedule III drugs in the US and is illegal for use, sell or possession. Just having a 3-4 bottles of anabolic steroids would be enough for a felony charge. I took some steroids when I was over 18. I took about 1 shot per week and I saw some growth. I was able to see that I would have to take a lot more steroids and for longer periods to get actual results. I counted my losses and moved away. Right now, I'm focusing on weighted pull-ups. I want to become the strongest pull-up guy (weight wise of course).

@@steroidsR4losers nothing wrong with steroid use... Just don't miss lead people. Not all steroid users are endorsing shitty products, some are just living their lives. You can use steroids safely. I personally went through experiences with years of test and tren, a little NPP and some other bullshit my poor mental state lead me into. Testosterone is now and forever the only steroid I'll touch. Not blasting 500mg a week either. IMO an athletic dose (200mg a week) can be done very safely. I look at it as an injury prevention.

Not really people have a warped view on what is "Natty" due to a fake ideal body image put out by the media along with a stigma on truth about performance enhancing substances. The truth is every single model in your magazines, every single actor in your films you watch and the athletes you root for are all on one form or another of PED's.

I hate when people call it “cheating” when theres so much more extra work, discipline and risk involved with gear. just like that guy said when your natural its eating and training and some supplements.
@lauraparker57183 жыл бұрын
Well that totally depends on what it is, if its just for a hobby, I wouldnt call it cheating, not with a competition where its normalized either, but its def unfair being on juice in a natty competition regardless of side effects and extra work
@davidapperson2563 жыл бұрын
Bc that’s sum bs bro someone can work just as hard if not harder but if they are natty they won’t even come close to someone on gear. In other words, equal amounts of hard work, yet unequal amount of muscle. So it the drugs then not the hard work that are making the difference
@slick62273 жыл бұрын
Yea but with the same ammount of work you get huge difference in results, not saying its cheating, but It kinda does tho
@kennylackey63183 жыл бұрын
Other than the process of pinning the steroids, which I can't imagine is all that time consuming, how is it extra work? I'm just curious cause I've never taken steroids before or known anybody who has. Like there's the reality of needing gyno removal and hair transplants but I wouldn't really call that work. I get that some people increase their volume a little bit on roids, but I've also heard that the optimal training volume doesn't really change.
