After 15 years of not dating and being fearful of having a failed relationship, I’m finally ready. One thing that I keep running against is that I haven’t met any Christian men who have been celibate as long as I have and many have had children out of wedlock. I’m not crazy about that 😬

I learned a while ago that there are some but not many celibate men in the church, but maybe God will have you to meet a man that may become celibate because he truly loves you? It's so great that you have your standards so trust God to do the rest 🙏🏽 p.s. if a man has been celibate for at least a year or 2 that does not mean that he's not just as committed to God as you with your 15 years, and what if it's in God's will for you to marry someone with that much time in?

4 years single and celibate for me! Glory to Christ! I started dating at 12 ish and was in a 7 year relationship until i was 24. when Jesus called me home it dawned on me that i was sexually active for 12 years straight. the first few months of being single was tough. but its like he completely healed my soul of sexual perversion. i've only spoken to a few christian women. it just wasnt meant to be. Abba will make it painfully obvious who you're meant to spend forever with. Despite enjoying singleness, i have been praying to find a woman. I've been having strange dreams regarding a reoccurring woman who'm it just feels like she is my partner in the spirit. even though we haven't met, i just know its about to happen in Gods timing. i understand why he had us in isolation to better walk in the spirit. The refining process is necessary!!

I come from a background where there were a lot of taboos surrounding this whole topic. When I started to pray about it, I felt to try online dating as there are very few options in my own community. Despite the good experience online, I still ended up getting back offline (not the type for online dating), continue to pray and stay available. Thank God for my married friends, who have a heart for my single friends and I, they then started to introduce people in their friends circles and at the same time helped to make us feel less awkward about the topic. I'm saying this, because your ministry is playing a huge part in our journeys as well. Thank you so much.

I thought I was, but I need to stop two things, and I ask for your prayers. I started smoking weed 15 years ago after a really bad breakup. I have smoked every day since. I have been begging for God to lead me out of this bomdage, and last week something changed in my life showing me it is time for a leap of faith. I am on day 4 of really quiting, and havent bought any in 3 weeks, but I am going through absolute hell. I know it sounds silly, but I was shaking for it yesterday. I cant even fall asleep until 3am. This is not even for a relationship as much as just being in a good place so I can adopt children one day, but I need His dicipline to leave a legacy of character, loving others, and faith. I truly feel this is his plan for me, and I just ask for prayers. He has made me want these children so bad I cant even think about anything else some times. I do want them to have a dad as well, but I know if a man doesnt come along they will have the best Father. My dad died when I was young, and my mom always told me I still have my Father. Those words meant more to me than anything in my life ❤

How do you know if you are content in singleness FOR A SEASON or if your desire for marriage is dying down?

Great question. I feel this is more of a question that God can only answer for you, but I could hopefully guide you to finding your answer. Be content in what God is doing in your season of singleness and be joyful now for what and who He has for you and thank Him for it. In this time, focus on God and your desires will be put given to you by Him (Psalm 37:4). God won't force marriage upon you if you don't want it, but He will also lead you to the right person if you do desire it according to His will. If anything, take this, focus solely on loving Him. Seek first the kingdom of God and all things will follow (Matthew 6:33). Ask yourself, are you scared to lose that desire, or do you TRULY not know if that desire is dying down because of your content in singleness? What is God doing with you right now? Are you building your relationship with Him in this time? Are you loving God more than the things He can bring to you? Just some general questions to help. Also, you may have a desire for something now, but later on you may not have that desire or vice versa. But you also may lose a desire that you had before for a certain period of time and that desire may come back. The desire may die down because you're not ready but when you are ready, it may come back. Wouldn't you know if you didn't want to be married though? I know it's not much but hopefully you'll be guided towards the right direction! I pray that you find your answers! ❤

Try praying to God about it and know that he is listening to your prayers. He may not answer them right away like you want him to, but the reason why he takes a long time is because he probably wants you to give up something, like the idea of true love, and he'll probably lead you to your future wife.

I'm convinced that God hates me. I love God but the same time I have been on this planet for 28 years. Each relationship I've gotten into has been worse than the next. I've had men try to kill me stab me rape me break into my house put guns to my head... And finally tonight after three years of being totally single heartbroken, alone and abstaining from sexual fornication until marriage.. I finally went on a date. The guy is super nice everything is perfect about him, we have so much in common his character is selfless and loving and patient. But then we got to the dreaded part of the conversation. We talked about marriage, sex and God. I told him I wanted to get married one day and I'm waiting to find my best friend and my soulmate in one person but I'm waiting to have sex until after I married with that only one person. He understood that but the moment I started talking about God like I always do. He got really awkward and he told me that he's agnostic. He told me he was raised Jewish but never really believed. Honestly it would have been so hot if he would have told me that he believed in God and professed his faith. But I'm glad that he was honest with me instead of lying. But any sort of feelings that I had for him immediately died the moment he told me he's agnostic. I don't know how to deal with this and I don't know if anybody else has ever been through this. I've had people profess to me that they're Christians and then do horrible things to me, but I finally meet someone who is not a believer but there seem to be different than all the other people I've ever met. What do I do with this? I keep thinking what if the enemy uses them to try to corrupt me or try to destroy me in my life? But then on the same side of the coin what if I end up rejecting someone that does get saved and then I lose out on spending a happy life with them? I honestly feel like I'm in between a rock and a hard place if anyone sees my comment please pray for me because if two people come into agreement God is more likely to answer that prayer. I don't have the power or ability to save anyone all I can do is talk about Jesus. I try my hardest to be a fisher of men but there's nothing that I can do someone rejects Christ. I wish that that this young man could be saved but at the same time I am not God and I would not want something like that to happen for Pure selfish and vain purposes I would want him to be safe so he doesn't have to spend an eternity in hell. And that's another question that comes to mind even if I do date them and marry them I won't be able to spend an Afterlife of eternity in heaven with them so what is the point? 💔
