I've ridden over and made trails over the nastiest a'a' lava flows on the Big Island of Hawaii and never dinged or gouged a swing arm and as for the fork tubes I used ABS vent tubing cutting it 3/4 in half so it snaps tight on the fork tube. for you crash prone riders out there with bling bikes maybe you should rap your scoot and body in bubble rap...there I fixed. it for ya. s/

If you run aftermarket TM designs chain guides….. These things will not fit and you have to cut the shit out of them. And they still don’t fit right. Take that into consideration.
@nicholaspiotrowski33886 ай бұрын
Thanks for mentioning this!
@too-stoked-about-2-strokes6 ай бұрын
If you take your time and have a dremel to make small incremental cuts you can get them to fit fine. I have the TMD chain guide and the BPD swingarm tab guard and these protectors and they work/fit great. Maybe crosslinked should ship them with a template of the area to cut away to make them fit with these parts.

@@crosslinkedcomponents4494 I totally understand… I’m not knocking your product one bit. If I would’ve just used the stock chain guide and sliders it would’ve been more than perfect.. I wish I had some pictures. I just ended up throwing the swing arm guards in my garbage

Harbor Freight has stainless steel zip ties that may hold up better than the plastic ones.
@crosslinkedcomponents44946 ай бұрын
These zip ties are not your average hardware store. Over 250lb break strength and thick / wide. Some people are naturally harder on things. For them I suggest a hose clamp.

I don't understand why? Had 20 dirt bikes never needed them and I ride Washington State rocky single track. Seems like adding useless weight to keep your bike pretty ..

@@crosslinkedcomponents4494 I would never bash your products. They look great and work amazing. I just have never needed this specific protection. I don't mind scratches on my bikes, i guess.

From my experience mud makes more mess when it goes under swing arm protections, then without it.
@crosslinkedcomponents44946 ай бұрын
We have a set of decals that are an option to completely cover the swingarm before installing the plastic guards. Depending on the terrain you ride, rocks can make a much bigger problem haha!

Just say they paid you for advertising this BS. You know it’s BS, the guy across the street knows it BS. Protect what????? Against what???? A scratch then add a pocket to pack mud in? 😂 This is pure clown shoe material.

Hey brotha, we developed this product to help protect dirtbikes from hard enduro based abuse. I have been chasing the US hard enduro series for the last few years, and its a serious problem. Just a one man business trying my best to make the best protection components possible.

@@crosslinkedcomponents4494is the idea that it's protecting the swing arm and front forks against scratches?

@@crosslinkedcomponents4494 I ride hard enduro and this is not a “serious problem” at all. Anywhere. To anyone. It’s a BS product and you know it is. Idk if you’re a one man show. Thats your problem. My problem is your ethics. Trying to sell a BS probably for a problem that doesn’t exist, it actually creates problems. Then claiming there are “serious problems”. You are so full of it I can smell it.

OEM's don't put them on there because it's not a huge damage area if you are running the proper skid plate. That includes the gnarliest TKO Hard Enduro. could you get a ding or two? sure. A good set of quality decals provides protection for most of the smaller stuff. Plus it makes it very difficult to clean. To each their own though some people put all kinds of crap on.
