@@cnydo The only deck that let you interact is tear and only tear. Others deck stand no chance against it. Which is why there is an increase the number of floodgate deck just to counter tear. Back then, there's only few floodgate deck and now it's literally everywhere. To me this is the most toxic format ever because there are only 2 decks viable: tear and anti-tear.

Hopefully if they put bans on the Ishizu cards, people will see that they don't need to ban the Tear cards and can leave the deck playable. Sure it will still be a good deck, but the objective should be to balance the game not to destroy good decks. It would just kill a lot of interest in the game for a ton of casual players who put in resources into Tear to have the deck killed because of how many URs the deck cost...and only 1 of them is actually a card that got touched by the ban list in the TCG/OCG.

I have techd in everything I could and this deck is just too versatile. Mid combo they get a pop, you ash then they can just continue on your turn, they have no summoning restrictions like branded, they shuffle your graveyard or field at any time. They have a summon negate. And that’s all with just 1-2 card combos. Spright, without toad, was just 1 dark ruler, 1 kaiju, 1 evenly. Start playing

true. that's why I kinda enjoyed spright. super easy to play around thanks to several outs. (drnm, droplets, kaijus or even lava golem etc etc) now you need to be lucky and at least 2 or 3 interruptions

If you want to tech stuff that is generically good you only need evenly and super poly, one of those in your opponing hand clears the entire board (most players aren't playing or prioriazing crime so evenly will resolve)

@@knowsage2429 depends on the field, if it has winda/dragostapelia/Dark law plus rukalos you can super poly into dragostapelia which contests the revival effect of rukalos or if you are in a tear mirror more often than not you will be able to super poly their field and make your own kitkalos. The only thing that super poly doesn't out is kaleidoheart

I’m definitely going to be playing less this season. Having good success with heroes turboing out plasma and dark law, and just labrynth control though it’s still feeling weaker not having full power yet. Can’t run necrovalley until we get full power as too reliant on grave atm. Once the banlist hits in a month or so I’ll play more regularly

the problem is theres a very little counter to tear rn, with they limiting all floodgates, no bystial or kashtira, the only one that can fight tear is exosister, which the pack is not obtainable.

Agree. MD would be my favorite game ever if they charged a flat fee for the game, had all the cards unlocked like YGO Omega and EDO Pro, offered fun events, old school, unbanned list duels, and new school, more servers for fun events, released all cards as soon as they're released to the OCG, can you imagine how great and fun of a game this would be with a passionate developer? Instead it's just a gacha machine, when the servers go down one day people lose all their money they wasted on the game.

Yeah, i don't think adding a tier 0 deck was a good thing, i liked playing master duel bc i would have the chance to go against so many different decks but now 99% are ishizu tearlaments and me, who had built decks that weren't counter, now has to sit through entire boards i can never break or just quit out (that's what i'm doing most of the times). Even after i re-builded some of my decks against this new meta (it's like the 9 staples for maxx but worst now) i can't stand playing the same match over and over again against the same deck, maybe if they hit the ishizu cards a lil bit harder it could actually get better but idk at this point, i'll just play the events and see what happens

Plus having to run cards to counter it compromises deck structures, so there's no point in competing.

Tear is similar to adamancipator in the sense that they can play through boards with only engine and are very relisient to handtraps, however in adamancipator one droplet or dark ruler and you won the game and vs tear one evenly or super poly probably wins you the game since most players don't search crime

Honestly having played against this deck numerous times in the tcg at locals and tournaments , I can honestly say there is no point to playing master duel while this deck at nearly full power is in the format. It’s nearly impossible to summon from grave and that’s almost a guarantee in any match up against Tear because they mill their deck at will! It plays on your turn, they always seem to draw a maxx c on top of all their shinanigans which should be banned. I guess you could play MD with a Tear deck for the mirror match but good luck to any other deck trying to reach Diamond.

My first Tearlament match, i was playing Sprights at full power, and my opponent started very weak. He still had me beat in turn 4, and would have won if he didnt run out of time. Tear is great on its own, but the amount of extension you get with Isizu cards is beyond insane.

I've embraced the Tear cards. I'm having fun with Tears in my Branded deck. However if they limit the Ishizu cards, Tears would be tolerable at least, maybe lol.

Just ban Ishizu outright and it would be more healthy and if Konami just errata the cards to limit the player to only being able to special Tearlament/Aqua monsters or something since any deck that uses the graveyard as a resource pool can use Tear in them, this way they don't have to hit the tear cards since they'll be forced to play them pure which I think is the most fairest way to play it (I just want to play them pure)

I'm curious to see if Konami will accelerate release schedules to move to a more balanced meta or if they'll rely on the banlists. LOL tearlaments are really really good, but they have very exploitable weaknesses. I was using an "annoyance and disruption" deck last night, and took a tearlaments player to turn 13 after I started with a brick. I did lose, but he was decked out completely and If I'd drawn one more stop I'd have had him. Cheers me up to no end that he prolly paid a hundred bucks or more to build his uber sooperdooper meta deck and I had him pulling his hair out trying everything he had to do anything for 13 turns with a bunch of bog-standard cards. 🤣

Machina Symphonic Warrior carried me through WCQ. Fun fact: Rulkallos and Ishizu shufflers don't respond to Machina Ruinforce or Fortress since both are inherent special summons so they don't activate. The deck isn't a perfect counter to Tearishizu, but it can squeeze by a number of wins (I think I had about a 60/40% or 70/30% on Tearishizu). Big thing is breaking through all their main actions, and the Ishizu millers benefits a lot of Machina's grave setups.

It has been kinda satisfying chain blocking everything and setting up of your opponent I just played the mirror they thought if they just clicked it work out but I ended up setting up a full field w materials for the final fusion dweller and Barronne and they ended on negated kitkalos as soon as it became my turn I made dweller they quit but I do Think it will get stale if other decks can't compete w side cards
