Awesome video! I feel like learning "how to code" is such a broad category, like learning how to do Matlab for research is different than learning how to edit CSS. Totally agree with the beginner's mindset. Such a big part of learning how to code is learning how to learn

Programming takes patience and time. I find when I have a complicated solution for work I try to solve it over the weekend. No stress or pressure from work just coffee, music and beer to celebrate after! I still feel subpar to my peers but I know if I keep at it I'll get there oneday

Anyone can do anything they put their mind and their heart to. Some might get it faster and easier, but it is usually the ones who are not natural and those who have to grind and work for it that prove to be the best not just in coding (or design) but also in teaching others.

We're definitely on the same page today! ^_^ Just released a similar video today. Related: I've always considered myself someone who is NOT tech-savvy and will never be. Even after I did several Math research works? Even after I gratuated with distinction from a tech university? Even though I've been the best at the course at Delphi programming?.. I still thought I'm not smart enough. It kept me back for DECADES. Even now? When I co-own an outsourcing company? I'm still not sure I'm smart enough 😅

Hi! This is my first video of yours that I have watched and found out about you through hellomayuko. This seriously hit home for me because my self doubt and constant comparing my self to others is what I have been struggling with for so long even though I'm already in the professional industry. This is such a wonderful video that I feel will help me on my journey of growth. Thank you so much!! And I am looking forward to watching more of your videos ❤

@@StereotypeBreakers Hello Coding Blonde. I have worked as a working student or part time student worker at a big company as a VBA programmer. Does VBA programming also come under tech?. I can write code in VBA and I am also good in SQL. I can do basic programming in C,C++, Java,HTML5 as well however my main skills are VBA and SQL.Even though I am a computer science student I still struggle with C++ and data structures and algorithm interviews. I find VBA comfortable and I have been able to work in this field during my studies. Could you please give me suggestions for job hunt after I finish my studies?. I am quite close to finishing my studies

@@VC-kj9yx I'm not super familiar with roles that use VBA skills, so I can't recommend a specific approach. However, it sounds like you have a great background and skills, so I'd Google what roles are out there that require those skills. You might have to brush up on some other skills or learn new frameworks but there's definitely something out there for you. Finally, once you find a bunch of roles that sound interesting, watch my recent video on how to do your research on what job is right for you. I hope this helps!
