I teach several exercises to young to older students.....The clapping is one of them.Also use the triplets in all permutations...RLL....LRR....RRL...LLR...also RLR....LRL....Helps all the diddle rudiments....Good video.

Good stuff.. one exercise I love for building up my weaker left hand is to reverse sticking on a paradiddle. This forces u to accent the 3rd note after a double, which is abnormal & difficult to do fast. R l r r L r l l, L r l l R l r r, R l r r...

@KevinJones-qr2jh right on! ..and if u play it around the kit with each hand being on 1 tom at a time, it sort of has this cascading effect where it sounds like the drums are chasing each other down a waterfall. At least that's what I hear : ) 🤘

You are pulsating your right hand . Good lesson but should be played as da DA ma MA roll. Accenting the DA and MA . Or the E A. As you progress the accent will go away.
