@@BoisDArcKikos I have milk goats but thinking of getting meat goats also. Which goat puts on the most meat Boer or Kiko?
@BoisDArcKikos16 күн бұрын
We have been getting grade 1 prices with our Kikos same as boers. Plus we take more kids to market with our weaning rates with our Kiko goats.

@@BoisDArcKikos Thanks. So Boers have a higher mortality rate than Kiko?

Informative video. Location, climate and conditions are some of the biggest things to not forget. So many want goats, but have no idea the potential hurdles that could potentially be lurking in their region. You're blessed to be in such a great area to raise them and have an awesome operation. Glad to see you're doing well!

I started with Kikos, but I brought in a Savanah cross buck. At night I have them locked in a pen with sheep/goat woven wire (4x4). During the day they free range. I have a lot of brush and I am not near a road or close neighbors. They run with a dog.
