Really a pleasure to watch your videos! Tell me, are all recognizable people on the airport shoot hired models?? And hiw did you manage to have that corner free? And maybe having the real people (those who weren't your hired models) blurred by motion?!

Hey, that is great to hear :) Well, all those people were our models. It was our biggest project, we had around 45 models. And we were lucky, because that was just before they opened this new part of the terminal. And we were able to shoot there, because we were working on some videos for them. Also, our airport in Slovenia is very small, so we could do a smaller shoot even when everything is open and find a corner with no people. Otherwise, you can also shoot a few people (released), and have more people blurred in the background.

Hello Luka Azman, I'm new to the microstock world. I have a few questions, to take with this theme, besides the tips you've mentioned. 1, how do we prepare the model/talent, do we need a contract agreement, or do we just take a photo and ask him to fill out a release form. 2, For photo locations that support the theme of the shot list. Do we need to ask permission first to use the place, or do we just take a photo, or is there a fee incurred for that. and how to solve it for locations such as cafes, offices, hotels, or tourist attractions. Thank you very much for every content you create, everything really inspires me. Because I'm just starting out in this business, and I'm still a little confused about the flow of making stock photos with a lifestyle theme. warm greetings from Indonesia

Hey! 1. Well, I just tell them that the shoot is for selling images on stock sites, so anyone can buy them and use them. And then I just give them the model release to sign. 2. for locations, yes, you need a property release from the owner. Also cafes, offices and hotels. For tourist attractions it is not that simple. It really depends. Some are ok to shoot without release, and some are not. You can find a lot of info here: wiki.gettyimages.com/ Also, if you upload to iStock, read everything in the contributor community section, it can really help you to understand everything :)

@@LukaAzman Thanks for the response Luka. 1. Means not giving a small fee for them.? 2. oh, okay, I understand, if I do a photo shoot but don't really show the building, I can still do it without using properti release.

@@HerlanKhenzAfandi Well, it depends, you can give them photos or you can pay them. I usually pay for the models. And yes, of course, if the location is not recognisable, you don’t need a property release.
