I see a lot of things in this demo that could have stayed in the final game: The mutant scientists drop health. The weapons carried more ammo. There are soldiers instead of security guards(both human and mutant). Ethan is actually wearing gloves, which makes a lot more sense than in the final version where his hands are completely bare. There is a scientist on fire on the upper catwalk in the second hallway. They should have kept some of the soldiers in there. In the final game, you only see them in the first three levels. Mutant soldiers could have stayed as a third type of mutant.

I remember a MASSIVE bug in this demo where the "To be continued" message didn't appeared and the demo just kept going up until it crashed before Ramirez and Crispy get killed by the Theta in the final version. Its this same demo that came with jampack and it only happened once when I was replaying it back in 2008. It was interesting to see the different dialogue with different voice actors, and you didnt had to serch for any keycards to help Crispy open doors either.

not sure if anyone will read this, but area 51 went through many phases of alpha's and beta's. im not sure but for some reason they changed the whole damn thing up. this is one of the only public playable beta's from area 51's history.
