Cold Air gets trapped there easily. The coldest Temperature ever in Germany beside Funtensee was -37.8°C in 1929 in Bavaria. Note, that the Station at Funtensee is relatively young, founded not earlier than 1990.

The Irish place on the Victoria map is Cobh (formerly Queenstown), 2 facts 1: it has a museum to the Titanic, because it was where the ship last was on land before the doomed atlantic crossing 2: When Ireland left the UK, Cobh (along with 2 other ports) was kept as a strategic enclave by the British. Ireland would receive the ports at the end of a trade war with the UK in the 1930s, which is one of the reasons Ireland was able to begin its long-standing neutrality in WW2

I used to take one of those short flights. Stockholm-Visby (island of Gotland) The flight was about 45 minutes, as compared to the ferry that was 4,5 hours + 1 hour train commute. Back then, (2002) flights were dirt cheap and nobody cared about co2 emissions yet.

1:40 - at least those short flights in germany are not cheap at all. i mean the Wangerooge - Harle one is like 50€ and that is just one way. so you pay almost 100€ for just flying 2x5min. This is mainly because those are only small planes. same goes for the Norddeich - Juist one. Juist and Wangerooge are two islands, though both do have frequent ferries too. but those take up to 90min to get to. so you have the option to got by the more expensive but faster route, or the slower and cheaper one :) for that price i could fly to spain and still would have 25€ to spend on the train ticket to get to the airport or something like that.

If Argentina had joined the British Empire over 2 centuries ago (it almost did), there would be different places (and even an entire province) named after Queen Victoria. As it is, there are two localities in Buenos Aires and Misiones provinces named after her, as well as a much larger locality in Entre Rios province that (just like many other places in Latin America named "Victoria") is probably not named after her. Also, if Argentina were still as prosperous and stable as it was in the early 20th century, the number of video games with mentions of it would be way larger - say, about 10 times (approx. 600) as there actually are. And Buenos Aires would be among the top 10 or certainly top 15 cities in that video game list.

Regarding the India Friends List: Am sad to not see Russia up there. After going through hell to not scrutinize them like the rest of the world, they don't even make it to the list. Am sad to not see Bhutan up there. They trust us enough to us visa-free entry, but they don't even make it to the list. Am sad to not see Iran up there. We've mostly had good relations with them throughout. The same goes for Afghanistan, we love our Afghan bros. Not surprised to see the US, Austratia and Japan up in the list.
